Loose Shorts Tight Liners

The shorts and waistband are loose and I have to use the drawstring, but the liners are tight, especially around the seam. I am 5'9" 130 lbs and I bought size 6. I also have a pair in size 4, but I was hoping the liners would be looser in the larger size.

These...fit weird??

I have two pair of the 4" Rogas non-toolbelt that I bought last year and I LOVE them. They fit right, don't bunch up on the inside of the thighs, etc. etc. I bought the toolbelt version a couple months ago in the same size and something is just not right. The liner feels like it's tighter and something is just off about the way the shorts fit. I don't know if it's the way they're designed to accommodate the liner or if it's the new year's line and they're just a different fit. I don't even know if a size up would help - it's not like the shorts themselves are tight - just the liner. I'm afraid they'd fall down! Either way, I think I'm past the time to return or exchange (I was hoping a few washes and wears would loosen them up) so I'm stuck with these ill-fitting shorts.

We appreciate your feedback on our Toolbelt Roga Shorts, K.W.! Our customer care team will reach out to address your concerns, and we will also share your thoughts with our Design Team.

V. Happy, Happy Indeed

Glad I bought these babies. Comfy and good-looking. Did a 45-minute test run and they were great. They rode up a little on the inner thigh but not enough to be annoying or distracting ( I am 145 pounds and 5'5"). If anyone can find a pair of shorts that never ride up (and have thighs that touch), please let me know!

Happy I read other reviews and bought a size down ( I bought a size 8 but really I am a 10-12). The 8 was wickedly comfortable and sat at a good place on my hips.

I have some older Roga shorts that have the phone pocket on the front thigh which I like but these have it in the back middle which I dont like as much since the shorts tend to bounce up and down with the weight of the phone as you run. Oh well, can't have it all.

Low rise??

I wanted to love these— the fabric great, feels high quality, and the pockets are FAB. But these are so low rise on my body, they just don’t work! I’m usually on the short-waisted side, and I’ve never had this problem with any other brand (unless the shorts were specifically advertised as low rise). I added a picture for comparison of another brand in a comparable size. The waistband is at least an inch higher when the lined up at the crotch. Sadly, I returned.
Please consider adding a Roga with a higher rise!
