TOOLBELT ROGA SHORTS
Pockets on pockets. The original offshoot of the Roga that gave you more storage. It's all about the 360 Pocket waistband design that combines the security and comfort of a rear zip pocket (for valuables) with the accessibility of an open-edge power mesh pocket everywhere else (for gels, lip balm or what have you) to create the best stow and go running shorts. Whether it’s a long training run, a remote ultra, or just the need to carry all the things, Toolbelt IS the sharpest tool in the shed.

Yep, I love these. La-la-la LOVE. They're great quality and have lots of pockets. I got the maroon color and they're really pretty, too! One thing, though, is that I think they run a tiny bit big. I am a true size 6, and these feel a bit loose around my waist. (But they're a good fit in the booty and thighs.) I feel like if you're in the middle of sizes, you can probably size down. Definitely getting these in more colors.
It's been years since I've found a pair of running shorts that are this comfortable, and cute! Took them out for a test run this morning and they get a 10/10. Comfortable, breathable, stretchy... and did I mention, cute? Will be stocking up on these bad boys in every color.
These are some great looking shorts. The fabric is very smooth / soft/ comfy. as you would expect with the Roga shorts. These shorts are very slimming. A lot of running shorts make my butt look large, but these somehow miraculously camouflages my behind and makes everything look slimmer. I think the pockets are not as good as the Track Star Shorts. I still give it 5 stars, because it's nothing wrong with it, just different from the Track Star. I'm all about the pockets. Gotta have my phone with me at all times. The mesh pockets on the waist band does fit a phone but it's not very comfortable, and you can't sit down when a phone is there. (since the fold on your belly would push on the phone).
Just a heads up , it runs large ... I wear 4 in almost all oiselle tops and bottoms but for some reason for these shorts (and the Track Star shorts), I Have to get a 2. the 4 is way too lose . Not sure why it runs so large. I'm a rather thick waisted person .... and there are a ton of much thinner ladies out there. What would they wear if I'm already getting the smallest size it comes in...
I have four pairs of Rogas purchased in earlier years. I love them! This is my first pair of Toolbelts. I love the pockets, and I can stuff my giant old iPhone 8 Plus in the front. All my Rogas are size 6 and comfy, so I purchased 6 in the Toolbelt. This pair runs bigger, and they are super comfortable, but I worry that stuffing the pockets (the point of the design) will cause too much jiggle, even after I cinch up the waist elastic. But I bet they will hold a couple gels, no problem, and they are light as air like all Rogas. (PS: I ordered the pair during a sale, so I can’t exchange.)
I really love these shorts. I don't typically wear shorts with a 4" inseam, but these are so flattering. I also love the pockets - I put my iPhone XS in the front because it bounces too much in the back pocket, but that just makes it easier to access when I need it. There's also plenty of room for energy gels and other essentials. I'll definitely be buying these in other colors!
I love the concept of these, and fit is pretty great except...CAMEL TOE! Oh no! I don't have this problem with other brands, and I love Oiselle, and there are such cute fabrics, but oh my goodness the camel toe. I can't get over it. It's like another reviewer mentioned - it seems like the outer fabric is shorter than the inner brief, which kind of pulls up and compounds the camel toe problem, and then it's like a front wedgie while running. Makes me so sad because the shorts are so cute and have pockets on pockets on pockets so they're also functional in that way. But front wedgie/camel toe is a no-go for me. Sigh. I'll spare you from any photos.
I'm a pocket jogger fan - but I can wring the sweat out of them after a summer run. I like how light these are and they do not ride up (a problem I often have). The secure back pocket is great for my key and wallet but I like to stash my phone somewhere more accessible. My 6" phone fits in the front but it does not feel secure - so I use safety pin (not ideal). Even with the pin it bounces too much. So while these are the best hot weather alternative I have found to the pocket joggers, I feel the design needs some tweaking. Ideally I think I would be happiest with a lighter pocket jogger. At 5'8" and #130 the size 4 fits but is a lot roomier on me than the models in the pics. Maybe I could size down to a 2 - I am not sure.
I was looking for a replacement for the super light Salomon S-Lab 3" short that was discontinued. I wear these shorts for longer trail runs and live them. I order these Oiselle shorts because they appeared light and moisture wicking. I prefer a shorter short because I don't like the feel of fabric on my thighs. I ordered these in a 4 a bit worried I ordered too small ( I'm 5'8" 135lb and pretty lean). Received the shorts yesterday. Ran 9 miles in a pair today. Love them! Look great, feel great, no chaffing or riding up. I order the violet and black. Ordering two more pairs now!
