LONG ROGA SHORTS
The BFF to many a long-shorts lover. And as with all the Rogas, these get a fantastic upgrade in function and fabric. The front zip pocket is joined by the addition of an extra large, center back waistband pocket, which is even better for keeping items flat against the body while running. In addition to the Plya Compression waistband, all Roga styles come in a new Roga Stretch Woven body fabric that maintains the qualities you love in the Roga (comfort, stretch) but with improved drape and hand feel.
- Roga Stretch Woven fabric (polyester/spandex)
- Plya Compression waistband (polyester/spandex)
- interior drawcord
- interior technical liner
- rear zip waist pocket
- four way stretch for full motion
- machine washable
- 6" inseam (all sizes)
I absolutely love these shorts. The waistband, the length, the material - all perfect! And, the pockets!!! I don't do a lot of running anymore but I wear them for walking and I wear them at the beach. The material dries quickly which is nice. PLEASE DON'T CHANGE THEM OR STOP MAKING THEM : )
I am 5’3” and 155lb and I usually wear a 6 on bottom, 8 on top. I’m really muscular though so sizing can vary widely. I dutifully followed the size chart for these and chose the 6. They are PERFECT. Not too long (and I am short!) and the fit is great. Not as loose as other running shorts, but not as fitted as a bike short. Really, quite like the picture shows. I got the ivory floral print and have gotten so many compliments already, even with social distancing! I’m glad I sprung for them before they sold out. Will buy more!!
The long togas have quickly become my favorite pair of shorts. For me, the serve multiple purposes -- summer running, and also casual shorts I can spend my active weekends in. The fabric is light but durable, the waistband is comfy, and they flatter my sprinter quads. I ordered an 8, which is perfect for weekend adventures (they're on the looser side, which I like). However, I would probably prefer a 6 for running, especially if I planned to use the waistband pocket. (I'm 5'3", 138lbs)
I just bought these in the sale and I wore them today for a 7-mile run. They fit perfectly and I didn't have to adjust them at all. I am a 4/6 and went with the 4. They are not too loose and not too tight. I am going back to buy another pair. I do wish there were more colors.
Wow, I appreciate these shorts! I’ve looked high and low for shorts that didn’t bunch up between my thighs when I run. Honestly I’d almost given up on wearing loose shorts for running, because no matter what I did, soon after starting my run I’d be trying to pull them back down constantly. And if I gave up, I’d come back with badly chafed thighs. But not with this short! I’ve taken two runs with them since I purchased them, one treadmill and one outdoor run, and these stayed put! And the pockets are awesome, my heavy phone rides in the back pocket without causing the shorts to fall down.
I feel the sizing is a little odd—I typically wear a size 6 in Oiselle, but I preferred a size 4 in these shorts. This is partly because I wanted a sleeker, less blousy leg, and also because the size 6 just felt too loose in the waist, even with the drawstring. The size 4 is slightly tight in the waist. But the tightness doesn’t bother me at all when walking and running. If I was just sitting around it might not be as comfy. For reference, I’m 5’7”, 140lbs, 30” waist and 39” hips.
I originally purchased the long flyout shorts and loved them. Now I can't go on runs over 5 miles with anything but "long" shorts because the chafing is so bad, so I was looking for a new pair. The floral pattern of these caught my eye. These shorts are AMAZING! They are lighter than the flyouts and less stiff. I still love the flyouts, but these will come in handy on really hot days for sure. I bought a 6 and they fit well. 5'2", 140 lbs. Never stop making the long shorts!!!
These are my favorite shorts, hands down. No more issues with chafing or shorts riding up. I have 5 pairs. Wish they made one size larger too.
I bought this with very little expectations and I was surprised. No none-hugging shorts ever stay in place for me even with 6inch inseam.. So I was pleasantly surprised when I did a 7mile run in these and no chaffing at all. I wear a size 8 in pocketjogger and a size 8 of these shorts feels a little loose on me. But everything’s fine My iPhone X fits just nice in the back pocket. The side pocket is zipped and nice too.
