FLYOUT TRAIL TANK
A new addition to the Flyout family, the Trail Tank is designed specifically to work with hydration packs. It has wider shoulder straps, to prevent chafe, and a wider back design, for where your pack might rest. The fit is slightly a-line, making it super comfortable and easy to wear. And of course - this fabric - always a winner when the temps heat up... it cools, it wicks, it keeps you flying!
- HoverFit fabric (polyester/tencel/spandex)
- full coverage back
- wide shoulder straps
- 23.25" body length (size 4)
- constructed with Bluesign Approved Fabrics
Like so many others tops by Oiselle right now, the fabric is so soft and feels so nice. The simple design is great. The lemon color is pretty but kind of see through - anything but a beige bra is visible, as well as any legs or shorts band that rise high. With a black bra and black pants it’s a bit silly looking.
And for any taller ladies, this top too is short. 5’9” and this barely goes below my belly button.
I love this tank so much I'm purchasing additional colors. The yellow is so cheerful, and I love the ventilation in the fabric and the rise of the neck.
I love the color yellow, so I was very excited to see Lemon as one of Oiselle's spring colors this year. I was also excited to see a tank with a wider back design. The cut of this tank is flattering, the Flyout material is great as usual, and my usual size 4 fits well (if not quite as loose as I expected for an "A-line" tank—the A-line is definitely subtle). However, the Lemon color is pretty sheer. I have several Flyout tops in various colors and none of them are sheer like this one. For a running top, sheerness doesn't bug me too much, and I can't be bothered to pay for return shipping when I like everything else about it. But if you don't like sheer tops, beware that the Lemon color (and I would bet the white one as well) is way more sheer than they appear in the model photos.
Great for when you want a tank but want a little more coverage than a racerback. Flyout as always is outstanding. One tiny quibble, I found the Garnet/Rosebud colorway to be a little...rusty? Much closer to the color of Virginia red clay than jewels or flowers.
I received and tested this yesterday. The lapis color is beautiful and I found the fit to be great. I was a little worried it would be too see-through, but once on it looked opaque and my bright yellow bra did not show through. I liked that it was not clingy and how it handled sweat easily as well as feeling nice on my skin. I'm planning to use it for an upcoming 1/2 marathon.
The cut of this tank is perfect. Just enough underarm coverage, and just enough back coverage to prevent chafing when wearing a hydration pack. The A-line shape is subtle, but enough to prevent the feeling of clinging, which also prevents the top from creeping up as you move. The flyout fabric is excellent in hot and humid conditions. It wicks sweat without getting bogged down or soggy. Such a great addition to the flyout line.
