WAZZIE WOOL JACQUARD HALF ZIP
We took the popular half-zip silhouette and updated the fit: making it slightly shorter in body length, and a bit wider at the hem, for easy layering. With a wide, tall neck for snuggling into when that cold wind blows. As always, our Wazzie Wool is machine washable, ZQ Certified, and will hold its shape and color after many wears. Perfect for a cold run, a hike, or a long fall walk, with all of wool's magic: naturally anti-stink, beautifully insulating, soft to the touch.
- 100% merino wool
- responsibly sourced
- 23" body length (size small)
I love my new Wazzie Wool Zip. Not only is the print super cute (flying birds) and the wool warm, soft, and cozy, but the shirt is perfect for nursing. The zipper goes so deep that I am able to nurse my child without having to take the top off. I can breastfeed while camping and keep the warm layer on without having to lift up my sweater/sweatshirt and exposing my back to the cold (all you breastfeeding mamas out there know what I'm talking about).
Thank you Oiselle for making such an awesome top! Wish I had a photo of me nursing in it in the backcountry to share.
I love this half zip! It’s so comfortable and soft. I like the boxy, looser fit (I don’t like tight clothes in general). I actually got it to be a mid-weight base layer for skiing rather than running. Just took it out tonight and it was great! It fit under my ski jacket even though it’s loose and kept me pretty warm, even in cold conditions. Haven’t tried running in it yet but I’ve been wearing it around the house a bunch since I got it.
Only thing I will say is that the striped one is not white. Not sure if it’s just mine or this batch or what but mine is very grey. I don’t mind but I do like white.
I’m 5’7”, ~175lbs, and got a large. I probably could have sized down for a more fitted look.
Wow I love this top. It's beautiful, soft, and seems very well-made. I bought it for running but it looks like street wear so I know I will get a lot of use out of it. I love multi functional items like this. For size reference I'm 5'6 130-135 lbs 36in bust 28 in waist and 37 in hips and the small is perfect. It's not boxy and not tight. Worth every penny.
I love this long sleeve! I think it’s flattering, comfortable and warm. It’s more boxy as described by other reviewers but honestly I like it because it allows for room to layer. I’m 5’2”, 98 lb, and purchased a size XS.
I love the "regular" jacquard long sleeve -great fabric and fit. This model did not work for me. It was short in the body and sleeves and too wide in the body. I love Oiselle shirts as they usually have nice long sleeves, hard to find at 5' 10". I ordered my normal size large. I returned this shirt as the fit was just not for me.
I wasn't sure what to expect as this is my first wazzie wool piece but I love it! The fabric is amazing- lightweight and warm and soft all at once! The pullover is definitely a boxier fit, so I can see what other reviewers are saying about it not being overly flattering depending on your body type, but I hate form fitting clothing so for me the loose pullover cut is exactly what I was looking for. Paired with my roga shorts I am happy shuffling around the house all day in perfect quarantine comfort. Looking forward to buying more tops made from this wool in the future!
The weight of this shirt is perfect for cold runs and drafty rooms. I can’t decide if I like this shirt more for long chilly runs or wearing to work/around. The fabric is soft and seems like it will last a long time.
It’s washable and 100% wool which makes caring for it a lot easier than similar tops from other companies.
I like the shorter boxier cut. It cuts away from the body nicely and is flattering.
I am in LOVE with this fabric. So comfortable and high-quality, and the pattern (blue with the red birds) is lovely. I wore it as a base layer while volunteering as a course marshal at a cold, windy trail marathon yesterday, then came home, took a bath and put it back on - love that about this anti-stinky wool!
I'm 5'10" and 175 and went with the XL. It is indeed a bit of a boxy fit but it is long, and would make a great over-layer as well as base layer.
My only complaint is that the sleeves would be a lot better if a little longer and with thumb holes. It seems like a bit of a cut corner.
Regardless, I know I'll wear it a lot!
