Flyout Wool Half Zip
Half zips are an essential - beloved in the sport world. We love them even more when they're made from Flyout Wool, the superstar fabric that keeps you comfy in variable climates. It cools you when it's hot, and it warms you when it's cool. And now we bring it all together in a classic design that also gives you the convenience of heat release, and a bit more coverage at the neck. Even so, the design remains incredibly light and versatile... the perfect outerlayer for running, or under a mid-layer for fall and winter pursuits. Always soft, never scratchy, and washer-dryer friendly, this is wool reimagined.
Size and Fit
This is my favorite long sleeve for transitioning seasons or cool mornings. The cut and color is gorgeous, flattering, and it's very light weight for those not-quite-tank-top-ready mornings.
I do agree with other reviewers it's not a utilitarian player - its too delicate to wear under a vest or layer. And because it's not merino, it gets stinky after one wear. But I love it regardless!
Usually love the quality of Oiselle tops but this one just is too fragile. Wore with my running vest/pack today and it rubbed the material and snagged it on my cheesy on both sides.
Otherwise the top is great for cool weather just not durable and now looks frumpy.
I really wanted to love this top; the fit is good, and loved the color and design, but it seems poorly manufactured. I wore this once and the thumb holes threading immediately started unraveling. Seems like for the price it would be manufactured to hold up a bit longer…

Love this shirt for winter running! I have this in two colors (Mist and Ivory) and would love to have more if they had more colors available in my size. I find the shirt does run a bit loose so it isn't as warm as it could be, but I find it okay by itself for ~40 degree temperatures for easy runs (probably fine for ~25-30 degrees for racing), and with a Vigor vest, is fantastic for as cold as 20 degrees. I haven't encountered any pulling from the Mist shirt, which I wore for 1.5 winter seasons so far. Love how it dries off quickly when wet so that it isn't cold to wear - useful for runs where you'd socialize after the run.
