Flyout Short Sleeve
Fabric that hovers above your skin...it's the Flyout difference. And its power is in complementing your body's natural cooling process, by moving sweat to the surface where it evaporates away from your skin. Our raglan short sleeve is the ideal choice when you're ready to up your "tech top" game and experience the beauty of a truly remarkable, sweat-moving, cool-making garment.
The fabric of this top is so light weight, airy and buttery soft! You wont experience that uncomfortable clingy/slickness of typical synthetic tops thanks to the small honey-comb like texture. The fit of the top is one of the most flattering I have found, as long as you understand the sizing. This top is built to fit snug to the body, I assume for runners who aren't looking for extra fabric swinging off them. So as long as you size up, you can achieve a very nice flattery loose fit if thats what you prefer instead of the runner's slim fit. I am 5'6", 135 lbs, with broad shoulders and an athletic build. I typically wear a 4-6, but this top in a 10 fits me exactly right (a little ease throughout the body) and has been perfect for mountain biking. I will definitely be ordering more colors (and prints if they are offered)! PS. I also ordered the Flow Tee in a Large and preferred the more relaxed fit of this top's arms which left a little more room around my biceps.
This material is the absolute best! However, I am not a fan of the new fit of this shirt—it is much tighter around the trunk in a way that is not very flattering. I loved the fit of this top in the early flyout models! Would love to get the old sizing back, or create a bit more looseness in the trunk.
I have a size 12 in this shirt that I bought a few years ago. It is my absolutely favorite hiking, biking and all around outdoors shirt. Unfortunately they changed the sizing and now it's too tight across the bust. The size 14 is too big everywhere else. I'm a DD cup - why can't anyone make a shirt that fits people like me?
I own about 5 of these shirts, in a mix of sizes from 12 to 14, and each one fits differently. I just ordered a new color in a size 14, and was super bummed about the fit; it’s far tighter than the other sizes I own that are smaller (size 12) — see photos. This is one of my all time favorites for layering in winter and for hot days in summer, but the consistent inconsistent sizing is not awesome. At this point, I’m not sure what size would actually work.
