Fun and functional

The color (lapis) and bird pattern are great, and as a bonus the heathered background really disguises sweat! I was a little nervous about the armpit seams after reading some of the reviews, but they didn't bother me on a four-mile test run. However I have pretty scrawny arms and a smaller bust - buffer or bustier ladies might have more of an issue with the seams. I'm 5'8", 125 lbs, 34A and a small fit exactly how I prefer my workout tops - snug but not skin tight.

Take Flyte Stylishly

I was so excited when Oiselle put their Flyte tops on sale. I own the tanks, long sleeve and short sleeve versions. The colors are vibrant. I especially love the heathered versions. The print is great and you can wear the shirt to the gym, for a run or as cute casual wear. The long sleeve have thumbholes.

I size up in these tops because they are are meant to be more form fitting, but I like them a little loose. I'm typically a Size Sm (5'6", 130 lbs, 36C-28-36). The fabric washes well, drip dry, and breathes well. Seamless, no irritating tags, and cozy.

Love, love, love this top and the sales price gave me the opportunity to add several more to my collection.

Awesome shirt

I had to size up just to get more of a flowy feel (I am 5'1" and 120lbs, generally an xs but sometimes a sbetween a xs and s). Otherwise I feel like the sizing is pretty consistent with the flyte tops. I have no issues with the length. The white is a beautiful crisp color. I love the concept of flyte in a t-shirt and will likely buy more soon!

poor fit and design

I read the other reviews that mentioned issues with fit and decided to ignore them in the hopes that these shirts would work for me, but sadly the reviews were spot on. I'm between a medium and large in shirts and ordered and XL in the hopes of mitigating the snugger fit and because I've started to prefer looser clothing in general, but the XL feels like a snug L in other brands. Also, these shirts are indeed weirdly tight in the armpits, which is the main issue for me - it feels like someone is pulling upward on the shoulder seams and the shirt is being pulled into my pits. It was annoying for the thirty seconds I tried the shirt on, and I could imagine it becoming a big issue with extended wear. Also not very attractive as the fabric wrinkled weirdly in that area. Gave these 2 stars instead of 1 for the lovely fabric and colors (though FYI, the PNW color is much more of a forest green in person than on my screen, where it looked teal-ish), but the fit in the armpits is a dealbreaker. If Oiselle fixed this and either made them looser or offered an XXL, then they'd be awesome.

Fit not the best

The material is great; love how stretchy it is. I sized up and even then the shoulders/arm pits were tight, and the torso is very fitted. I liked the long length, but I didn't like that even one size larger it felt weird in the torso. I was excited to try this Oiselle classic but was surprised it didn't deliver (for me).

Love this, but wish it was shorter

I am 5'2" 115lbs and bought a size XS. It is a beautiful top and the material is excellent for fall and spring runs. I am short-waisted and for me it's too long and bunches at the waist. I'm sure taller people find the length beneficial. I kept it because other than the bunching it's great!

looks cute but a little tight in the arm pits

I love the length on this shirt, and how it fits through my torso. The material is great, and no one can tell I'm sweating when I am wearing it! However, I should have sized up because it is unexpectedly tight in the armpits (and the same size in the tank fits a bit loose on me). Totally fine for wearing around (makes my armpits look skinny!), shorter runs, gym workouts, but I haven't taken this on a long or hard run because of this issue.

I feel like a professional in this shirt. Ideal for sweating, fits nicely. Love the crackle color.
