Made with the much-loved Plya™ Compression, our Firecracker Collection is wildly popular for anyone running in the early morning hours, after dark, or through all the stormy weather like we have in Seattle. This season, we added mini shorts to the collection, to round out all the options.

Firecracker - Style was a miss

Quality appears ok and I love the concept of the shorts. Safety first! Oiselle in general is a fantastic brand so I will try just about anything they put out. The shorts were a miss for me and it has more to do with style and trends. They covered more of my waist and belly than they did my legs as they creeped up badly. I love a short short but this was shorter than short when I was done. Not a fan of the thick bulky waist – it was uncomfortable and hot. Will try again with cooler temps (its 90+ here in NC in September as I type).

Love these shorts!

Love the pockets, great fit. Perfect for marathon training. I do wish the waist was slightly shorter but still love them. I’ll be wearing them often.

Really like them but SUPER high waist

I really likethese shorts, especially the reflective birds. The only thing is that they are REALLY high-waisted. At 5’2 with an average length torso these come all the way up to my bra.
