Wazzie Wool Mile One Pullover
The classic Mile One silhouette in our favorite Wazzie Wool knit that is warm, lightweight, and with a touch of spandex for stretch. It has a relaxed fit, making it an ideal layer over a running tank, or as a lightweight sweater. A loose mock neck collar keeps your neck warm without restriction. Like all of our wool, we only source from New Zealand with the highest standards of animal welfare.
The mock neck is too hot once you warm up. The zip version from a few seasons back was the perfect fall running top because you control how much ventilation with the zip and didn't need to layer and take it off. Bring by the 1/2 zip in THIS fabric (and colors). All the other zips this season are too heavy for fall.
Not too tight, not too loose. Great color, fabric and design
I live in New Hampshire where wearing can be a little crazy. I splurged on this hoping to wear it several days in a row for running because I hate washing my clothes for just a one hour run. Temps varied this week from 30-50. I ran in it 7 days in a row just to see how long it could make it…today it’s 40 and raining…it still doesn’t smell but it’s stretched out in the sleeves and wrinkly! Ready to be washed! What an amazing top! It’s soft, it’s the perfect thinness and the neck is perfect-not tight but keeps you warm! Wow! I bought a second because I was so impressed! Photo from day 5 and day 7 in the cold rain!
I love this shirt though I'll admit I haven't worn it for running - I think I like the Wazzie Wool baselayer best for cold runs. This shirt has an easy, relaxed fit but looks really cute. I wear it as a layer casually in the winter. I think it looks put together while being comfy cozy. I am 5'9" and yes, the sleeves are long. I am broad in the shoulders with muscley arms; I ordered my usual size 10 and found it to be a more relaxed fit than other stuff (like my baselayer tops), by design. Definitely not super loose, but a more relaxed. If you wanted something snug you could size down but if you want something loose and comfy, order your regular size, I think. I got the empire color and it feels like such a rich, sophisticated color. The shirt has held up well through several washes. I always hang my wool to dry.
