Knickers are the ultimate in versatile bottoms. And this season, we've made a slight but noticeable update to the waistband design, with a lighter elastic and improved pocket design that reduces restriction. Knickers offer all the compression, comfort, and pockets of full tights, but the easy, below the knee length that makes them great for all types of workouts. Nyelle fabric provides soft support and rich color. And did we say pockets? Yes, and five to choose from: side leg, zip waistband, and small mesh... for all the places you're going.
These are my favorite tights ever. I just bought a second pair. Would love a 3/4 or full length version with the mesh on the back of the knees.
I normally love these but the most recent pair I bought gave me pause. I’ve lost weight and have been sizing down in everything. I sized down in these and they feel SO TIGHT in the waistband! Hips and legs are fine; I’m glad to have the smaller size there. However, the waistband is so uncomfortable that I rarely reach for them. Bummer because I love my other pairs so much and was excited for a new color. Would be 5 stars if not for that!
I feel like Oiselle bottoms are not made for anyone who doesn’t have washboard abs. I have this problem with all Oiselle spandex shorts and leggings: the waistband is always much tighter than the compression of the bottoms and the size guide suggests. It creates a pooching sensation where my belly is pushed down by the tight waistband, but not held in by a matched compression of the pants. It’s SUPER uncomfortable to have the waistband dig into my stomach. I don’t have washboard abs but I also don’t have a disproportionately giant stomach - it’s just a stomach. Please, Oiselle, stop doing this!
First, these are probably the most comfortable knickers I own. I barely feel they are on, I love the pockets (can easily fit an Samsung S20, in it's case, in the pocket) and I find the fit flattering. I am surprised to see how many people suggested to size up - I personally had to size down. I bought a size 4 at my local running store and thought they were fine when I tried them on. But when I ran in them, the waist constantly slipped, regardless of how tight I cinched it. Consequently, I ended up with crotch-sag and chaffing on my thighs. I ordered a size 2 instead and they are truly beyond perfect. I am going to order another pair in the grey. For reference, I'm 5'5", 120 pounds with a 26" waist and 34" hips .The size chart says I should squarely be a 4, but they were uncomfortably large during high impact activity. I highly recommend these, but in what is apparently an unpopular opinion, I'm going to suggest these run a bit large. The smaller size sits lower on the waist, and perhaps that's why I'm not getting the tummy squeeze others mentioned.
