Air-cooling mesh on the outside, Plya Compression shorts on the inside; it's the ultimate 1-2 combo for coverage without the heat. Most of this garment uses the fabric known as Kara Mesh (hello Kara Goucher) but in a new way. The cooling stems from the pin hole fabric, while the stretch comes from its high Spandex content. These shorts are ready to run, or even make indoor workouts more cool and comfortable.

- Plya Compression interior short (polyester / spandex)
- Kara Mesh outer short (polyester / spandex)
- 3" inseam interior short (all sizes)
- 5" inseam exterior short (all sizes)

Don't like them THEY RIDE UP!!!

I was excited about these because being marked as lightweight, breathable etc. But they were not comfy for me at all. Just like other shorts that have two layers they ride up. As I jogged both layers rode all the way up and I was constantly pulling them down. As for the breathability they aren't any more breathable than other shorts, especially since they have two layers of fabric. AND they don't even have pockets to redeem them. Wish I could return them. Size-wise I ordered and 8 because in their other spandex shorts I've found I need an 8 even though I wear a 6 normally (and a 6 in the Rogas).

Size down if between sizes...

I ordered 2 sizes and kept the smaller and had ZERO problems with ride up. It's miserably hot and humid in FL and these were great for my long run with no chafing. Minus a star for no pockets...ok if I run short from home or wear a hydration vest, but not good if I needed gels or car key.

The Ride Up is Real

Big fan of all the compression short Oiselle makes. However, these do ride up big time becoming underwear very quickly. They are now my wear around the house shorts.

I had high hopes for these shorts after a friend said they don't ride up. Spoiler alert: THEY DO! Took a tenth of a mile of brisk walking in my warm up for them to ride right up. So mad I had to waste almost $60 on running shorts I can't even wear to run in.

Ride up

Fabric is smooth as butter, but the ride up is real. Proceed with caution

Cool Compression for Ladies with some thigh meat!

As a firm believer in the magic of the pocket-jogger (long and regular), I was really excited to try out a cooler version! For anyone who struggles with the inner-thigh shorts creep while running in Midwest humidity: these are a winner! The outer layer of mesh stayed mostly in place during my sticky run. The second layer crawled up a little bit but it was not something I noticed until I got home and it hadn't bothered me at all. I would suggest going comando if you're comfortable with it because undies get a little bunched under the compression. I am 5'8" and 170 lbs and ordered a size 8 which was perfect.

Great shorts!
Top 3 favorite O shorts!

I was a little wary of these when they were first released. I was concerned they might ride up and that the waist was going to be too tight. Not the case! I typically have a lot of trouble with shorts of all kinds riding up on me and while these do move a little bit they never got to a point where I was tugging them back down or felt exposed. The waist band was comfortable as well. Not as compression like as the o mazing tights but definitely not pinchy like the new pocket joggers. My only complain about these shorts is that they don’t come in more colors!! 😜

Love these but the DO ride up

Perfect for summer, love the fabric and fit. Unfortunately, not enough grip or compression to prevent riding up.
