Uncomfortable for running

The ink blue roga shorts are a pretty color and seem high quality, but they were quite uncomfortable to run in. Throughout my run, they felt like they were pulling down at the waist (because of the wide waist band?) while bunching up at the legs. I'll use these for walking but am disappointed because I bought them for running.

a bit disappointed

I bought these shorts after doing extensive research and trying all kinds of shorts on my quest for the perfect pair to wear for my training and first marathon. I followed the size chart precisely and ordered a size 4. The 4s came and they were ill-fitting all around - too baggy on the outside, and the inside undie liner was weirdly tight on the elastic part. No problem, I exchanged for the size 2. The size 2 fits, no weird elastic undie problem however, they just aren't the best for running. One leg bunches up pretty quickly and since the fabric is on the thicker side than most of my other shorts, causes some chafing which I've never experienced. They don't cause the diaper-esque look but you will have the camel-toe look instead. Pick your poison.
A bit bummed since it looks like I can't return and these are a bust. Like someone else mentioned, these might be good for other activities, but they aren't a great runners' short.
For reference, I am 5'4, 115lbs.

Boo - The current design is cut WAY smaller than previous designs.

Oh Oiselle. I finally found my one true love in a running short. The pair(s) that I would reach for time and time again. The pair(s) that I would contemplate wearing even when it is just a little too cold because I love them so much. What to my wondering eyes should appear? A discount code so I could buy more pairs of the Roga. Anticipation ensued, matching tops in my head.

Out of the package, I noticed that the fabric felt different. I consulted the Materials section, but couldn't find anything meaningful about the percentages. No worries, I'd just wash them and wear them. Then my practical side said: you should try these on. Ok, fine, matching tops can wait for a few more hours. First the black pair (not that I needed another black pair, but you know you can never have too many pairs of black anything). Yikes, that was tight getting on, and then the full length mirror. Oh heck NO! Alright, maybe the green pair. Ok, these go on a little better, but say response: Oh heck, NO!

Sadly, I will return these. And I will continue looking for a new one true love...

Bring back the old rogas!!!

I have been running almost exclusively in rogas since 2016 or so. I LOVED them, so I ordered again when one of my old pairs finally ripped. The new rogas fit very different- much tighter in the legs, a lower rise, and wider in the waist. I have a small waist and athletic glutes/thighs that the new fit does not accommodate. Especially for running this new fit is big enough in the waist to fall down while also being tight enough in the thighs to ride up!
So bummed. Now I'll have to find somewhere else to get my shorts from (and I only have two of the old pairs left).
