These are the best Rogas! I live in the south where it’s blazing hot and thick humid. These shorts don’t ride up or chafe. They are light and just perfect!
I'm a long time Roga lover, but felt regular Roga was heavy at times for hot and humid Texas. These remind of favorite light weight shorts with the reference of "naked" and "Flight", that haven't been made in over 8 years. I am so happy with these. I need to buy some more. I'm 5-5", 135 lbs. I bought a size 6. They fit great with some flow in the legs. If I want to carry something heavy and I might need to size down to a 4. I would also prefer a zipper for my keys and cards. I don't trust mesh. Maybe put the mesh on the sides for gels and stuff. Thank you for making these.
The original Rogas with the waistband 3 rows of stitching, right rear zipper pocket, and regular ol’ drawstring are still my favorite. BUT these are very close! They are lightweight and roomy and the liner fit is spot on, giving the occasional feeling of “Am I wearing pants?” which is definitely a positive. For reference, I am 5’6” ~133# and size 6 fits as usual. Really like the switch-up on pockets. These are great long run or marathon shorts b/c you can fit 5+ gels, snacks or other supplies back there. And finally, these shorts do well with heat and humidity. They don’t show sweat - amazing. If you are someone who gets hung up on colors you should know the PNW color must have some variation between items. I also have a Oiselle PNW hat and it is more of a hunter green. These are more of a teal. I like them both 👍 Now, if Oiselle would make these Rogas into jogger pants with the liner that would be fantastic 💥
I’m so happy I ordered these! I love Oiselle but I’ve had a couple of misses lately (no big deal; returns are easy) so I was happy to see these worked out. I do think they run a bit big but the internal drawcord helps to ensure they stay put. I’m 5’4/115 and pretty much always a 2 with Oiselle. The fabric is super lightweight and somehow even in 92% humidity my
sweat didn’t show through the orange shorts. I actually like the open mesh pocket - you can slide your shirt through when it gets too hot for a shirt. If I could make one change it would be to add a small key pocket because I don’t trust my key in the open back. But I just tied it through the drawcord and that worked out fine!
