A comeback from the way back! We've had many requests to bring back this sharpest of sharp jackets, named after one of Oiselle's early designers (aka "Katron Bomb"). It's a fave for a lot of reasons! But of course, we can't simply repeat the past, we make it better. The updated Katron Jacket keeps what folks loved: lightweight insulation from Primaloft®, loads of pockets, and streetwear style, and then brought in the 'new and improved' including Polartec® PowerStretch Pro as an ultra soft neck liner, inset cuffs, and on the sides for ease of movement. We love the two chest pockets with hidden zippers, the side zip pockets, and of course, a large rear pocket for stashing extra goodies, snacks, masks, or sports programs. This is the go anywhere, do anything, stash and carry fall-winter jacket that will stay in your rotation forever. Like Katron, a style icon!

- Katron woven outer shell (nylon)
- Primaloft insulation (polyester)
- Polartec PowerStretch Pro side panels (polyester / nylon / spandex)
- full zip
- front zip hand pockets
- front chest zip pockets
- large rear zip pocket
- two interior drop pockets
- 24" front body length (size small)
- 24.5" rear body length (size small)

Nice but not perfect

This jacket runs very large and has quite a boxy shape to it (not a very flattering shape) maybe if I had purchased a size smaller it would look better. I ended up giving the jacket to my mother - who looks lovely in it, but she doesn’t like fitted clothing. I loved all the pockets.

Solid multipurpose jacket

I’ve really been enjoying this jacket, whether for hiking, errands, work, etc. the fit is comfortable and lots of pockets! Love the teal color and the fabric has been repelling moisture well. The bomber style worked well for me-I’m broad shouldered and can off feel constructed in coats, but this had a nice bit of stretch to it. Usually am a size 8-10, medium worked great.

Perfect cold weather jacket!!!

I live in Montana and this coat is perfect for those frosty morning runs. I used it during a morning run that was 20 degrees but the weather app said it felt like 15 and I was definitely warm enough! I wore it with a wool running shirt so I had some moisture wicking and it was perfect. Definitely will be great with those low double digit and single digit runs.

New Go to Jacket

Love this updated Katron puffy! I already find myself grabbing it over almost everything else. Incredibly light and comfortable, while being extra cozy and warm. I'm an XS and there is still plenty of room for layers underneath, but it still has a nice fit. Love the color option too!

Incredibly versatile

Need a jacket that you can throw on after a cold run, and pair with a nice dress later on? This is the jacket for you. Ultimate travel jacket for it's versatility as well.

Excellent running jacket!

Katron jacket to the rescue in the first cold Colorado (37 degrees) track workout of the season! This jacket moved well, is soft, kept me warm without overheating, and held up! It kept me at a perfect temperature during the warmup and running drills as I geared up for 800 meter intervals. I am usually a size 4 in Oiselle and ordered an XS Katron. It fit perfectly over a flyout wool long sleeve and I am writing this review because I was so glad to have it on a colder day like today.

Runs big

Ran big and had to return. Once again looked like maternity wear. Fabric also looked cheap in real life

So sleek- and wawrm

I got my Katron puffy in the mail not long ago and W-O-W. This is warm, sleek and SO worth the buy!

First of all - there are seven pockets.. SEVEN. How does that wizardry even happen!? Not just that it carries a lot - but it looks like a sleek bomber jacket - and is also so comfy.

I love, love, LOVE this jacket and recommend it to anyone who is considering it :)
