Say Anything Jacket

Pleasantly surprised that this jacket kept me completely dry during its first use--a 12-mile run in steady rain and 40ish degrees. I wore the hood zipped up the entire time and didn't have any chafing under my chin. Also loved that the elastic on the wrists wasn't super tight so that I could ball up my hands inside the sleeves when my gloves got soaked halfway through. Love the bright blue color keeps me visible, too.

I bought this jacket in 2020 and I probably wear it 10-20 times per winter and I have laundered it once per year at most. So, I'd estimate I've worn it 50 or fewer times and laundered it a maximum of 4 times. It's amazing how comfortable I can be going for a run while wearing this in the most challenging winter conditions to dress for (e.g. 34 degrees and raining). It's soft and warm and fairly breathable, so all of that is great. My main issue is with the wrist area of the jacket. The elastic has completely worn away, leaving the wrist flopping around. It's distracting and makes the jacket less water resistant because of the gap it leaves. The lining has held up okay, not perfect, I would have liked more uses from the jacket before waterproofing started to slightly decrease, but overall I'm very happy with it. I see that the price is practically the same as I paid back in 2020, which is great. I think I would probably buy it again.

Lightweight, flexible and bright color, good for pre-dawn walk visibility, important for safety.

I purchased this at the end of last season when it was on sale. I have been waiting to test it out in the Seattle rain. Boy was I disappointed. I went for a 5 mile run in moderate rain and when I finished I was drenched. My short sleeve shirt was soaked through and when I pulled the jacket off my arms were dripping with water. I am an avid Oiselle fan and their running apparel is often my go-to brand. I had high hopes for this jacket as it is soft, stylish and comfortable. Unfortunately it missed the mark on keeping me dry.
