Underrated & amazing

I miss the swishy soccer pants of the early 2000s - they are the perfect wind block layer to keep you warm without weight and easy to take on and off before a race. For some reason no one wants to make them anymore (at least not in women’s) so I was very excited to see these. Already in love with Vim jacket, the pants were easy sell. The material is so thin but it keeps you so warm! If it’s around freezing or below, they are perfect over tights. Above that over shorts is great. I’m usually L/10/12 in Oiselle & got L. They L are big but since I layer them over stuff I wouldn’t size down. My main problem is they are long and I am short, but the elastic cuffs keep them up. Love the zipper cuffs and zippered pockets. Such a great layer bc if u take them off they are super light & easy to pack away. Haven’t run in them - lots of hikes & dog walks & perfect race warmup pant, but I think next super cold windy day will see how they do. There’s so much wind proof tech in tops and not in tights. Very hard to find bottoms with the wind proof panels & usually they’re just on the front of the pants & my butt is still cold. Think these pants are the answer.

Nice pants!

These pants are super comfortable! They are lightweight and can easily be worn over shorts or whatever or just worn as regular pants. They are lightweight and I love that they zip at the ankle. This makes it so much easier to pull them on & off over your shoes, if needed. I wear these while hiking. They keep the cool breeze off my legs but are not too hot. I'm very happy with these pants!

stylish, comfy, & lightweight

I bought a pair right before my hiking trip with my college friends in late October and wore them the whole day with my Oiselle tights underneath. Super comfy and stylish, and it didn't feel tight with all the layers. The material is smooth and very lightweight, so it was easy to pack it in my carry-on. I love the draw cord inside to tighten it as I please. It kept me warm, dry, and clean even in the rain since it's water resistant, so it was perfect. I am on the shorter side and usually go for size 2-4 for Oiselle products, so I went for XS for this, and it was just right. Sharing a picture that my friend took at San Jose with my Vim Pants and Oiselle Sport Cross Body Bag :)

Surprise Favorites!

I'll be honest, when I bought these I wasn't entirely sure that I wasn't buying them just because I liked the idea of them. I'm not sure I knew exactly how I'd end up wearing them. After first trying them on I was immediately surprised how lightweight and comfortable the pants were. For a swishy pant I wouldn't expect to like them without shorts or something underneath but the fabric is so nice that I can wear them as normal pants, or over other pants or shorts. I took them on a backpack this weekend as a last minute after thought for a layering option and because they are so lightweight I didn't feel that bad about the extra weight. I ended up wearing them over my shorts when I got a little chilly, on their own for awhile after a quick afternoon swim, over my wool sleep baselayer moving around camp before climbing into the tent. And even in the tent I almost forgot to take them off before going to sleep because they were so comfortable I hardly noticed the extra layer before I climbed into my sleeping bag. Even though they are lightweight they offered a nice wind block layer. Both insulating, but also breathable! And! the zippered ankles and easy fit make them easy to take on and off over layers and even shoes. Anyways, almost needless to say these are a new surprise favorite and I'm already scheming where else in my life I can strut these things!
I measure as an XL-XXL and ordered and XL found them pretty true to size. Maybe not as much of an "easy" on me as intended since I measure on the larger end, but still worked!
