When Kara joined Oiselle in March, we just knew it was the right fit. We're fellow runners, racers, track nerds, and believers in the big, diverse industry we all call "running." So it was the ultimate thrill when, in our early conversations, she said she loved our product. And that it was a big motivator in wanting to join us. As we move forward, we're collaborating with Kara on future styles for Spring 15 - and of course, a fan tee for this Fall. While we await the styles born of this runner/designer collaboration, we asked Kara for her favorite Oiselle styles. New Lesko Shimmel with Removal Cups
I love this top! It's so comfortable and a wonderful alternative to a tank! This is the best long sports bra I've worn. Although it is fitted, it isn't so tight that you feel like you need to suck in your stomach. Very breathable. (Kara is also wearing the Flow Tights)
Flow Tights
These are must have basics. They go from workout to errands seamlessly. Oiselle originally sent one pair, and I asked for four more. I can't wait for these to be out of the wash!
Lux Side Zip Top
This is the perfect running/casual top. The fabric is amazing. It breathes well and is so soft. But the cut of this top is also fantastic. It is a totally amazing running top but also a great top just to wear around with leggings - or the Flow Tights.
Flyte Short
Everyone knows I like my spandex. I like a tight short! But I don't like spandex that doesn't breathe or that cuts into my waist. That's what I love about this short. The cut is short without being a racing brief and the waist hits at just the right height. It's a little higher- not high waisted but a little more coverage so you don't give yourself muffin top. (Kara is also wearing the Hail Mary Tank and New Lesko Bra)
Oiselle Trials Hoodie and Big O Hoodie
Who doesn't love a good hoodie? Heading to practice and going home, this is the layer you'll see me have over my running clothes. And I don't know how they did it, but Oiselle basically put the snuggle bear's fur on the inside. So soft.
Distance Short
I am usually not a "running short" girl but I love these. There is no bunching, riding, or billowing fabric. Perfection in a running short, which is very hard to come by. (Kara is also wearing the Lux Arm Warmers and Flight Shimmel with Removable Cups)
Vertical Drop Tank
I love this tank! It's so chic! And it flows so nicely when you are running. The cut is so fun and beautiful and yet totally functional. It's like your go to tank to pair with jeans when you go out - only it's for running. Amazing. (Kara is also wearing the Strappy Bra)
Lesley Knicker
I love a good capri for my gym/lifting sessions and the Lesley Knicker is amazing. The length is great and the cut across the butt is super flattering.
Winona Tank
This is the tank I recommend for everyone. The fabric is so comfortable and the cut is so flattering. It isn't loose or baggy but also isn't tight and constricting. Perfection.
