How to: Win Winter
We are so excited to introduce our new winter styles, like really ready for the 'wicked cold' weather ahead.
KATRON COLLECTION
Katron Collection is back, better and bigger. The Katron puffer vest and jacket are all about the fabric and insulation. The shell fabric is even more wind and water resistant than the first season, coated for extra protection. We are using the most premium synthetic insulation available, 130 gram PrimaLoft Gold, in the body and 100 gram in the hood and sleeves. This means the jacket is lightweight, has a high warmth to weight ratio and is low bulk. And to wax more poetic about this insulation it's hydrophobic (won't absorb water) so it maintains loft and keeps you warm even when wet.
Katron puffers are ready to perform while maintaining their street style edge with moto fit and styling. It's a key winter style for everyday and every adventure.
The fabric we use in Katron is so drop dead amazing we had to incorporate it into more styles. The first of which is the Runwear Pullover. Lux meets Katron and sparks fly.
WAZZIE WOOL
Wazzie Wool is back in new hues, styles (hello, gaiter) and rad bolt print! Our wool comes from happy sheep in New Zealand, responsibly sourced from the highest quality Merino farms. A high Merino Wool content (93%) means a complex fabric structure that absorbs and wicks sweat with the added benefit of being naturally water repellent.
POWER STRETCH
Those fleecy accessories that the ticket to treadmill free winter training. Soft exterior and fleecy interior ready for the chill. Mittens, gloves, beanie and earband with big, bold reflective logo for extra visibility. And for warmer days, the Lux accessory line brings a lighter side.

Core Routine For Runners: The Dozen
I was introduced to the "The Dozen" in the winter of 2012 by my favorite Oregon running family. I love this set of core exercises for its efficient targeting of core muscle groups, and because no gym equipment is required! You can do this on a grass field, in your hotel room, or really anywhere you can lay on a flat surface.
Reflecting on the Year of the Underbird
This past August, we launched our Year of the Underbird program: an open application for aspiring Olympic Trials marathoners, with a promise to select 5 women for a 6 month contract encompassing a stipend, gear, storytelling, and community support.
