Five Reasons To Try Cross Country
Why you should (without a doubt) try cross country.
1. The pre-race carbo load.
Don’t worry you’ll run it off on the course.
2. You can get away with doing weird things that are not at all acceptable off the course.
Cross country course: OKAY...office: NOT OKAY
Call it a warm up and it’s completely legit.
3. The fans. Cross country fans are a unique bunch.
Most bring extreme enthusiasm which can be quite motivating mid-race. But a note to overly excited fans...
Screaming RELAX! at the top of your lungs is not actually all that relaxing.
4. You’ll go through to war with your teammates...
...so there’s a pretty good chance you’ll come away with some of your best friends.
5. ANYONE can run cross country.
Really, there is no coordination required.
And you can go all in.
OR you can party rock your way to the finish. Give it a shot. You might even win!
