RUNNING HOTSPOTS

The American River Trail is our bread and butter. It goes 32 miles from Downtown out to the foothills of the Sierras. We recommend starting anywhere from Sac State and to the east. Here is a map of areas to park for easy trail access.

For a quick shake out, William Land Park is another good option. It's three miles south of downtown, and a very pretty three mile jog around.

Food - Hook and Ladder (American, Farm to Table), Tres Hermanas (our favorite Mexican food), Burgers and Brew, Ramen House Ryujin

Celebratory Dessert - Ginger Elizabeth Chocolate (or the gelato place next door ;)
