Lock & Load for those big boob days
I’m usually fine in a medium compression bra (34B/C), but when I’m on my period my boobs swell and regular bras like the Verrazano don’t cut it. After a particularly sore couple of days, I started to realize THIS is what women mean when they say they hate bra shopping.
Rated as Oiselle’s currently most supportive bra, I gave this one a shot. Glad I did. It provides the compression and support I was looking for. When I wear it, I can focus on my run, not how much my chest hurt.
Ordered my normal size: 6
I chafe in this bra around the band but I literally don’t own any bras where I don’t chafe. Lube before run handles it just fine.
I also get that itchy section the other reviewers mentioned. Not enough to stop me from wearing it. WORTH. IT.
- Support. Cute mesh details. Looks more like a crop top than bra with the high neck.
- Little matronly with so much coverage. But that seems like that’s how it is so supportive

I own this in two colors already, and just ordered my third! I adore this bra--I haven't historically been a sports bra only kinda girl, but Houston summers are killing me and I'll do anything to minimize the sweat factor right now!
I love that the higher line on the bra means I don't feel as "exposed" as in my other fav (the verrazano) when running without a shirt.
This has plenty of support for me, but I admit I'm only a 32B. This was TTS for me, at least as compared to other O bras (I wear a 4 in all clothes, but size down to a 2 for bras).

Brilliance Bra Review
I'm a size 30D-DD. I ordered the size 2 and size 4 in this bra. I found the size 2 to be comfortable around the chest and under my boobs and had a good amount of compression but it was fitting weird across the top front and the straps were really itchy. I felt like I didn't have enough coverage on the sides of my chest. The size 4 (which is my usual size) fit much better. Strangely the straps didn't itch me on the size 4, perhaps they were digging in on the size 2? I ran a 7 mi technical, hilly trail race in this bra and found it mostly comfortable. Slightly itchy in the straps and no bouncing.
- Compressive, racer-back, solid black color, well-made
- straps are itchy

Awesome bra even for smaller chests
I was worried this bra would be overkill but man, it's just awesome. No chafing, zero boob bounce. I'm a 36-38B and bought a size 10. I though I would hate the hook clasp but it gets the bra just loose enough that I don't have to call for the jaws of life when I'm trying to get out of it! It's a great looking bra in case you want to go shirtless, too.
- Fit, looks, fabric
- The white is really hard to get clean after a few uses
- New York City
Chafing on lower band and shoulder strap
-good fit and support (I am not very busty but still like my sports bras to have high support) but left shoulder strap chafes/itches
-lower band was fine for a short run (4 miles) but started to chafe during a longer run (6 miles), leaving red marks/scratches that sting in the shower
-unfortunately this bra was final sale

Busty Runners Can Now Celebrate!
This is my all-time favorite running bra. As a 32FF, it’s extremely hard to find a bra that provides adequate support (let alone is actually cute). The Brilliance Bra keeps the girls comfortably in check and I absolutely love it for long runs or high-intensity workouts. One word of advice-I’m typically an 8 in Oiselle bras but for this one I sized down to a 6.
- Fantastic compression, super cute
- Scratchy around the adjustable part in back

Not quite right
I have a terrible time finding sports bras that actually support as a 34DD. I had high hopes for this one, especially with the higher neckline, but I'm sadly going to return it. I had major spillage on either side of the bra (by the arms). When I tried to fit everything in the bra, the band pulled away from my chest.
Also, even when the band was on the tightest hook, I still had bounce. For reference, I purchased a size 10.
- very cute, high neck
- fit wasn't right - side coverage poor
- New Jersey
Not supportive enough for D-cup runner
This is a comfortable attractive bra. I like that it's compressive and can be pulled on over head (no crazy contortions needed to get in and out of the bra). I wear it for yoga and bike rides, but sadly can't wear it as a running bra. I'm a 32D and this bra doesn't give nearly enough support for running. Please, please, please Oiselle, create a comfortable, compressive, pull-on-overhead running bra for us large-chested gals!
- style, colors, fabric, design
- lack of support for d-cup runner
I wore this on a 100k Trail Marathon with a lot of elevation gain and loss. I am a 34 d and there was no uncomfortable jiggling. When you run for 19 and 1/2 hours, even small amounts of jiggle become painful. I am older and breast fed two kids so need a lot of support. I didn't have to pull down or adjust at all during the race. There is some areas that could possibly chafe around the seams between fabric and mesh inset on back. I hit it with a layer of body glide and had zero chafe.
- Real true actual support
- Seams between fabric and mesh insets have some scratch.
Great fitting bra
I really like this bra! I find most of the Oiselle bras I've tried in the past are too short, but this one has really great coverage, and I don't feel like I have to pull the chest strap down all the time. The product details above mention this bra being for a C/D cup, but I am a B cup and think it fits great and provides plenty of support. I also really like the adjustable chest strap (I thought it would be weird but it's actually a great feature), and the mesh helps keep you cool. I also find that most bras with cup inserts get too warm, but this one actually breathed really well. My only issue was there is something pokey in the stitching where the straps connect in the front - I couldn't find anything and just put some moleskin over it, but I may have to pull some threads out in the future.

Unsupportive and irritating.
Lately, just before that time of the month, I've found myself wanting a little more compression than I get from my regular running bras. (I'm maybe a 34B-plus on normal days, but the week before my period, I'm more a 34C-minus). I thought this would be perfect, and luckily, it arrived at just the right time.
Unfortunately, this actually felt a little bit looser than some of my other Oiselle bras (I'm a true size 6), and cinching in the bottom didn't make a difference. Some of the extra coverage made it LOOK less bouncy, but hiding bounce does not a supportive bra make. Also, I noticed the itchy seam thing the first commenter mentioned - they're right where three seams come together on each side and they stick out a little. Those spots itch like mad. If it weren't for that, I'd send this back and try a different size.
Unsupportive and irritating is reason enough to kick annoying people out of my life; I won't settle for any less in a bra. Back it goes.
- Easy to get off, attractive design
- Lots of coverage but not much support. And ITCHY.
