WAZZIE WOOL CROSSOVER BRA
We took our classic Wazzie Wool knit, in Merino Wool plus that just-right amount of Spandex, and put it into the ultimate comfort bra. With an easy pullover design, plus a wide plush elastic, it's the bra you'll forget you have on. Added bonus: wool is naturally odor resistant. And our unique knit also holds up and won't shrink, even after repeated trips through the washer-dryer.
- Wazzie Wool (merino / spandex)
- wide elastic chest band
- racerback silhouette
- compression level: 1
I got this bra for lounging and WFH and it’s exactly what I expected. Comfortable and light. Definitely is warmer than a normal lounge bra, which is great for MN winters. I ordered a small which is my normal sports bra size.
I have a larger bust and usually bras like this don't work and give me a uni-boob. I decided to try it based on Jocelyn's review, because I, too, have had a mastectomy and can't wear traditional bras without discomfort. This crossover has a comfortable band, gives me enough support and a bit of shape. Best part, it's merino wool and keeps the girls warm. For reference, I'm a 36D and bought a medium.
I love this bra. No struggle to get it on and it fits so comfortably. I am 5'5" and 120 pounds and bought size S. Small frame and chest. This is perfect for me!
I thought this would be a comfortable everyday bra but it’s a little short. I’m not an especially tall person, but it’s just too short......the band is on the bottom of my breasts instead on solidly around my trunk. It’s not awful, but it needs an extra inch on length.
I guess I should have noticed where it said, “compression level 1” and deduced that this is not a high or even medium impact bra. Kind of wish that was in the description too. Was hoping to use this for winter trail running, but it offers almost no support. It’d be suitable for yoga, walking, possibly hiking depending on your bust size. I’m 34A and ordered an XS. Fits well and is extremely comfortable, but it costs too much for a bra I just wear around the house. Since it’s single layer it doesn’t hide nipples either. Kind of bummed with it.
I love this bra! For two main reasons. 1) I have had a double mastectomy and don't have normal blood flow to my breasts. So my boobs get REALLY COLD in the cold. This is very helpful to keep them warm on runs and just chillin'. 2) The straps are nice and large and the crossover is perfect for larger chests. I also have the Jane wool bra and the straps and coverage aren't great for larger chests.
I’ve always wanted to love the Wazzie Wool bralettes that Oiselle has produced for the last few years. I loved the feel of the Wazzie Wool against my skin but the fit of the bralette was always SO uncomfortable, whether I sized up or sized down or ordered my usual O size. I was constantly fantasizing about a Wazzie Wool bra that did not have adjustable straps and had more of a racer back fit. When this Wazzie Wool Crossover bra was introduced, I knew I had to have it. It is everything I hoped for and more! The fit is amazing and so comfortable. I can hardly feel it on my body it feels so good! I lounge in it, sleep in it, do yoga in it. It’s not very supportive so it probably wouldn’t work as a running bra but if you have a small bust size, it might work for me. As for sizing, I suggest ordering your regular O bra size. I normally wear a size 2/XS in O bras and the XS fits perfectly (unlike the Wazzie Wool bralette, where I had to size up to a size S). My only complaint: the odor. This bra stinks! But I’ve owned many wool products and am well aware that wool has an odor that goes away after the first wash. Do yourself a favor and buy yourself one of these for Xmas. You made it through 2020: you deserve it!
I have to be honest, I am small busted and pretty much wear a sports bra every day...but now have switched to wearing the crossover bra constantly. So comfy!!! Need all colors!!!!
