For those who want to go long, the Long Power Pocket Shorts have a trio of features that go the distance. First, our Plya™ Compression fabric is lightweight and supportive; second, this two pocket system, with one drop in pocket and one zip pocket, means you have all the options while on the go. And then the leg inseam, with coverage that will have you feeling snappy and secure.
I pretty much don't buy any tights or shorts without a generous pocket, and I was bummed that this pocket was so tiny! Might fit a car key, but that's about it. Loved the fabric--- would love to see a short in this fabric with lots more functional pockets in the future.
I'll echo what other reviewers have said. Love the shorts--comfy, don't ride up, great fabric. The hip pocket is not good for a phone though and that's what I want it for. Too high up so my iphone sticks out at the top. Can't wear a hydration belt with them because of that. Pocket would be fine for a gel maybe but it should be lower for anything with bulk.
I have worn the Flyte Shorts (they fall down on long runs because I am a heavy sweater - weird but true) and the Pocket Joggers (way too tight in the waistband, material is too thick) and these things hit the perfect stride. Fits true to size! (I'm 130lb, size 6) Great fabric, doesn't ride up, doesn't dig into my waistline. Love it, Oiselle! Thank you!
I love so much about these shorts, the length, the waistband, the fabric. The hip pocket is a huge problem for me though. I always take my phone on runs for safety and audiobooks, but the location of the pocket just doesn't work. The waist is high enough that the top of my phone bangs into my ribcage and I also hit it with my elbow as I run. It's a great spot for GU packs and snacks, but a back pocket or thigh pocket for my phone would make these buddies perfect.
