Dart Shorts Mini

I love these shorts because they don't ride up at all. I've worn them during a half but wouldn't be able to use them for a marathon because the pockets don't hold much at all (1 gel per side) and I wouldn't wear these if I needed to bring my car key because my key would probably bounce out. These *could* be designed with more pocket space though - the waistband is thick, the side pockets shallower than necessary.

I love these shorts! Very comfy, great fabric! I chafe often & I've never chafed in these (including during a marathon)! The waistband is very comfortable and doesn't squeeze you.

Only gripe: the pockets are shallow since the shorts are so short. The first time I wore them & brought gels in the pockets, the gels fell out at some point... BUT my solution was to safety pin the tops of my gels to the top of the pocket! Then I just ripped the gel off (leaving the safety-pinned top of the gel attached to the shorts, see picture). This worked great! I fit 3 gels in each pocket (and an apple tag in one pocket that stayed put fine).

This cut works for non-cis people. As usual fantastic.

I am obsessed with these. They’re so comfortable for my whole run. I don’t even think about the fact that my whole thighs are out. I got two pairs - black and navy. I’ve been wearing the black every week. I just put on the navy pair for the first time and discovered the pockets weren’t sewn shut at the bottom. I am disappointed because the pockets are convenient but I can wear a little running belt to hold my car keys.
