A great surprise

I didn't think anything would top my Vim/Vigor or Say Anything layers but I love this jacket! Yes it gets wet, but when you live in the rainy PNW, you just commit to being wet in the rain anyway. The important thing is it keeps you warm (but is not too warm or clingy like the Say Anything) and it's so visible in the dark. I didn't *need* another outer layer but so happy I got this one. If I have one complaint, it's just missing a small key pocket, but I love the half-zip more than I thought I would.

Love it!

I can’t say enough about how great this jacket is. I got this as a gift for Christmas (I have a rain jacket and vests for cold weather running so I probably wouldn’t have bought this for myself) but I’m so happy I have it now. I’ve used this in both snow and bitter cold (<10 deg) over a wool or thick layer, and it breaks the wind and keeps me the perfect temperature. It also feels snazzy when you’re wearing it and the reflective pieces are a great addition. I would definitely recommend for cold weather running!

Good for visibility but...

It's a light jacket that does the job for high visibility. However, it is not at all water-resistant. I ran yesterday in a light southern California rain and came home drenched. I would not recommend it for anything except reflectivity. No pockets either.

My favorite outer layer

I'm an early early morning runner in Portland, OR where it's wet all winter long. I absolutely love this jacket as an extra layer of warmth on dry colder mornings and an outer shell for the rain. Works from 30-55 degrees. And it delivers every time. The reflectivity is so helpful in the dark. I went for a M (I'm 5'6"/145lbs) and it's perfect. 4 months in and it's holding up absolutely perfectly.
