Seamless Racer Shorts

I’m 5.1 and about 115 lb. I got a size small. These are huge in the waist and in the lower abs area. I love the style but will have to return them. I definitely cannot wear them.

I’m 5’7” and 155 with a large waist but the medium is still a big big. Despite not being tight, the waist band did stay up during my run and the legs stayed down. I will be ordering another pair in small!

Let me start out by saying the Oiselle seamless shorts are my favorite out of all other shorts, especially for race days. I love the fabric, the high rise, and they don’t ride up on me (a pocket would be nice, but it would change them, I get it). Other pairs I have do fit a bit bigger in the waist but they’re still functional. I don’t like super tight clothes either. So, I took a chance on these with final sale because I loved the look of them, even though other reviews mentioned them fitting large (plus I have other pairs, I figured they’d fit similar). Well these definitely fit larger than the others. I am usually a 4, maybe a 2, in Oiselle bottoms, and I got the small. The waist is quite big, the back of the shorts pops out and doesn’t touch my lower back. The other issue which previous versions didn’t seem to have is that the front area is also quite large. There’s a lot of extra fabric there that makes them more unflattering. Overall, I like the style of these, but the fit was a letdown for me.

I ordered these back when it was still too cold to even wear them, I thought they were super cute. Once it got swampy here in the southeast I was able to break them out and run in them and I love them!! Like other reviews I do find them to be a bit large in the waist but they are still comfortable. They do ride up a tad, but seem to settle without moving up any more after the beginning of the run. My only complaint is there isn’t a single pocket, like one stash pocket for my car key would make these 5 star in my book. I am 5’2” and 110 lbs w/large quads/glutes and I wear a small in these.
