EXTENDED SIZING review. I purchased long rogas and flyout tanks. I’ve include my review for both so you can string together an outfit. For reference I wear an 18 in jeans and 20 in dresses. I chose size 20/22 because I measure for a 24/26 for my waist and 16/18 for my hips, so I decided on meeting in the middle and going for 20/22 for the tops and bottoms. I will keep everything but next time I may go for the 24/26 for tops. I wish the tops were slightly longer. The shorts are perfect. Highly recommended! 💕🙌🏼 Pictures include a closeup of the fall floral next to the queen color. I may also purchase the green(Shelly) color to go with the fall floral print. The other set is the cirrus print and crackle.
I wanted to try this tank because of the great reviews. It is a nice material and super lightweight. When I went for a run, this tank rode up my torso exposing my stomach. I did not like that very much. It is long enough when not running. Not sure why this happens but it was frustrating to keep pulling my shirt down.
I have multiple Flyout tops and love the fabric - it’s pretty magical in the heat and it’s also great for rainy PNW runs. I’m not in love with the fit changes though. This one gapes in my armpits and is snug around my hips. It’s almost like it flares out at the armpit and there’s an extra inch of fabric. Please bring back the old fit and the scalloped bottom - it was way more flattering in past seasons!
I now own almost every color of this tank and the same shirt in long sleeve. I love the fit and comfort of this tank. It is perfect for just walking around a town or running. I always am comfortable running in this tank no matter how humid the day is. I wear a 10 in this shirt and it fits great. For reference I am a 36D so need the 10 for the chest but the rest fits perfectly. No bagging.
This is my first flyout tank and I'm in love. This top is the perfect weight for my early morning runs. I live in FL and we have a "fair amount of humidity". This top fits the bill. I do like that it's a little longer and I also like that the top covers the girls! I got a size 6, but a 4 would have certainly worked really well. I'm sorta between those two sizes. For reference, I am 5'3" and about 130. My only ask to Oiselle is to make them in more colors.
I recently purchased my first flyout tank and I really like it. The material is very light, breathable and comfortable -- the tank does not get in my way at all during runs. I did take off one star because I am 5'1" and the tank is pretty long on me, I wish it were shorter. Would love to see this tank offered in a shorter race length option!
I was very excited to be able to replace my beloved and well worn original Flyout tank in snap but unfortunately I don’t think I will be. The new wider straps bunch up around my arms/chest and I am missing the longer hem in the back due to having broader hips. I like a looser feel and this version doesn’t fit the bill like the original. I am afraid to size up because it already gapes so much around my chest/arms. Like others have mentioned, it just isn’t as flattering as it used to be.
I absolutely love Flyout tanks. I have 6 from previous seasons, but I'm not sure I'm keeping this one. I wore a size 6 in the first season, then had to size down to a size 4 in the next several seasons. Based on other reviews, I sized back up to a 6 in the spring 2020 version. Length is fine, & while I liked the the old hem, the change is not a deal breaker for me. The problem comes in that it totally gapes under the arms & I'm afraid I will chafe. I'm a 35 AA. I don't want a tank that hugs my hips, so I don't know if sizing down would fit. None of my other Flyout tanks are cut with the curve causing the armpit flare out on me. Super bummed because I love the new colors, but not sure I'd wear the style.
For reference, I'm 5'9.5" and wear a 4 in most O tanks & bras and a 6 in most O long sleeves.
