TRIPLE THREAT CAPRIS
Introducing the newest style in our effort to create practical garments that are also design-worthy stunners. Like its predecessor, the Pocket Jogger Capris, this style is well-pocketed (five!), is high-waisted (flattering, comfortable!), and provides that runner-essential piece that can straddle all kinds of temperatures and mileage (versatile!). Made in our best-selling Nyelle™ fabric, it also offers deep rich color, and a soft, supportive stretch that holds up run after run, and wash after wash.
- Nyelle Compression (nylon / spandex)
- rear zip pocket
- two side waist mesh pockets
- two side leg pockets that fit a phone
- interior drawcord
- 18" inseam (size 4)
These tights are great but the sizing a little off. I’m 5’2 and 150, thighs and a booty, ordered a size 8 after reading reviews on the snug waist. They fit but definitely a snug when taking on and off when it comes to my thighs and booty. I do like the feel of support in the waist though but just a little too tight. Overall, I did keep these leggings. I like the design with pockets and colors (ordered rising sun)! I would like to see some adjustments on the waistband and perhaps a lighter fabric. I had “peed myself” sweat stains after a quick 2 mile run in the New England summer humidity.
I've loved this design since it first came out (the style had a different name, and awesome reflective fabric panels, but the same pockets) and ran my first (and to-date only) marathon in them. After having a baby last August, I got another pair, one size bigger, and noticed the different fabric, which was heavier than before but still quite nice. They fit really well, stay put, and have withstood many washings (even the mesh parts, which I was a little skeptical about when I first purchased). But I recently ordered another pair in the Rising Sun color and was disappointed in two things: 1) this new pair gives me muffin top, and 2) when I tried them on with blue underwear underneath, that showed through the capris. These are going back, sadly. I love Oiselle but wish that there was more consistency in the sizing of their bottoms.
I love my tripe threats. When I first tried them on they felt snug, in particular the waist but after reading other reviews, I sized up. I love the pockets and the high waist. I have worn the tights in all types of weather and am impressed with their versatility.
I have three pairs of these (purchased over about 1 year) that I wear regularly because I love the pockets, zipper pouch, and fabric. Each pair I have fits a little different, one is perfect, one is a little tight, and my most recent pair is so tight and squeezes me uncomfortably until I'm about 2 miles into my run. While they aren't compression, they stay up nicely and I appreciate they don't slide down at all. However, the legs do slide up every time into the back of my knees, and because they have mesh there, it is really uncomfortable. They hold up in the laundry really well. Given all that, these are still my go to running pants.
Super functional crops, fabric thickness good for my climate (Pacific Northwest). These tights not super compressive for me but I love the side pockets and all the pockets options. They are a bit loose at the waist but stay up, and they tend to ride up and be like knickers by the end of my run even though I’m only 5’4”, but this doesn’t bother me that much. They are comfortable and I can wear them around all day (beware cat hair though!!).
I have the Aero 2.0 running tights which I love. I wanted some capris so I ordered these. They are literally 2 - 3 sizes smaller than the Aero tights. I ordered a size 12 in both. The Aero tights fit great. The Triple Threat Capris are 1 1/2 inches narrower at the waist and hip - I measured. My daughter wears a size 8 and they fit her perfectly. Disappointed as I really wanted a pair of capri running tights. If you order these, definitely order several sizes up.
Love the idea of these, pockets are all in great places, colors are awesome. I sized up from my normal size in Oiselle bottoms after reading reviews but the top of the waistband is still too tight. If the entire waistband were snug, that would be one thing, but it's just the very top which makes my stomach bulge out rather unattractively right below it. If I size up any more, the bum and leg areas would be too loose.
When I first tried these on, I worried the fit was a bit too snug (5’6” 145 lbs and bought a size 8.) However, I was a believer after my first run. They were very comfortable to run in and the fit kept me from having to yank at my waistband and pull them up during my run. The problem I normally have with capris with pockets is that the weight of the phone will pull them down or annoy me by bouncing up and down. These pockets were so perfect, I completely forgot I was carrying my phone. I also wore them to lift weights and do calisthenics after running. They stayed put and worked beautifully for that as well. As others have said, the fabric is thick and they may be too hot for summer workouts, but I feel like the material is such high quality these will last a long time.
