Granato Racing + Oiselle = Birds and Bros Party
There’s nothing like the feeling of finishing a marathon. Whether it’s your first, fastest, slowest, or toughest…you always hobble from the finish line ready to celebrate the journey you've completed.
The afternoon of Sunday October 13 in Chicago will be no different: We at Oiselle are thrilled to co-host a marathon after party with Granato Racing. It's a time the Oiselle flock and Granato Racing’s friends can come together at Old Town Social to raise a glass to the marathoners' accomplishments. Of course, a party partnership this epic called for a name and hashtag, #BirdsandBros!
So who’s the main bro? Kevin Granato. He's a running coach based in Chicago and Granato Racing is his flock of runners. We started Tweeting with Kevin back in early 2013 after seeing him instagram some love for the Oiselle Trials hoodie. A man that embraces French Fleece? Heck yes.
We got to know Kevin and his group of runners over the web and then finally met him IRL at USATF Championships in Des Moines in June. He brings the same qualities to coaching and running that we love to see at Oiselle - passion for the sport, improvement over time, and a sense of fun while chasing big goals.
Granato Racing just launched a rad new site and Kevin coaches runners in Chicago and beyond. If you’re looking for someone to get you to your next PR, definitely drop him a line.

Paralympian, pushrim athlete, and Oiselle Haute Volée, Jenna Fesemyer, continues to pave the way and inspire the next generation of wheelchair athletes. She is committed to increasing access to adaptive sports, including access to equipment and training resources, and recently co-hosted a wheelchair clinic for young athletes in Columbus, Ohio.
