Lovers of Wazzie Wool rejoice! We've introduced a new but equally awesome Wazzie Wool knit. Its secret sauce: it maintains the high percentage of premium merino wool, from our ZQ Certified supplier in New Zealand, but brings with it a small percentage of Nylon, to create a nylon-core blend. The nylon is what allows the merino to be sewn in a lighterweight knit, without losing its durability (100% merino is too delicate to use in performance clothing at ultra light levels). We've been wear and wash testing the new nylon core Wazzie and can attest it's every bit as tough, soft, and washable as our original. Wool! It remains the miracle fabric of athletes everywhere, with its warmth AND cooling abilities, durability - and natural anti-stink factor.

- Lightweight Wazzie Wool (merino wool/nylon)
- racerback design
- 25.5" body length (size 4)

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!!

I get really hot really quick when I run. I’ve worn this tank twice, so far. One of the days it was warm and humid (ran a 10K), and the other day it was chilly (ran 4 miles of hill repeats). I was pleasantly comfortable on both days, and did not become hot or bothered on the warm day nor cold on the cool day. I have not washed the top yet, and it has zero stink. It is exceptionally made, and I absolutely love wearing it!! I am 5’1, 115lbs, and ordered a size 4. It fits perfectly. I highly recommend this top!!!!

Perfect for play to ultra.

This material is feather-weight, comfortable, and flowie. My first run in this tank was 18-miles in the hot, humid Columbia River Gorge. Even ducking in and out of waterfalls, running up mountains, and moving from sun to shade - this top performed perfectly. No chafe, it didn't cling, and it breathed well despite the conditions. What I love about this shirt is that the weave is nice enough that it looks good as a baselayer under my everyday tops. With a more minimal wardrobe - I love that this piece walks the line.

As for sizing, which seems to be a bit over the board with reviews, I found this to be exactly what I expected. I'm a petite 34A, Small, and a 4. I ordered a 4 and it fits beautifully. I did find my tank stretched a little as I would expect any top when I was drenched from the waterfalls. At 5'1", this tank feels stylishly long. If you're on the other extreme for height, I wonder if it would be too short??

Unexpected Surprise

I have just discovered Oiselle, and I am impressed. When I saw the wool racerback tank, I knew I had to try it out. I wear a lot of wool base layers in the winter, and I am familiar with all the great things they are doing with wool these days (it's not as itchy as it was back in the day!). To make summer wool tanks is genius! I have received my first one in blue, and I just ordered a second in plum. The feel of the fabric is so soft, and the cut is fantastic. It's long, even for me, and I'm 5'10", so be aware petite girls. For me it's perfect, and it has great coverage, but then you have full movement in the arms. I've worn it a few times and I know this will be my go to tank this summer, and many summers to come.

Woo Hoo Wazzie Wool!

I was skeptical about this tank - wool? For running? It ended up being my new favorite and I ordered every color! It is super lightweight, breathable and moves with me when I am moving, instead of sticking to me. I have sensitive skin and was concerned that the fabric would irritate it, but the material is soft and comfortable with a flattering fit.

wool for the summer...wow!

Wool for a tank top? At first I wasn't sure. My wool long sleeves keep me so warm, but what would a tank top do in warm weather? I was pleasantly surprised by how well it performed in warm weather. It has a very lightweight feel and maintained this throughout my run. At the beginning of one run I was even wearing a long sleeve over it and barely noticed I had a tank underneath!

I can sometimes be sensitive to wool, but I found that this wool did not irritate my skin at all, which was a huge plus! I would say this runs a tad bit smaller than some other Oiselle tank tops, but maybe wool is just less stretchy than the other fabrics. I kept my usual size (6), but if your size is usually snug as is, I may suggest sizing up.

Spring Wazzie Wool WOW!

As if the Go Tank wasn't going to have enough competition this summer from the flyout tank; the Spring Wazzie Wool is also vying for the coveted title of "Go to Summer Heat Training Tank". This tank is lightweight, smooth, and soft! Sweated it out for a warm indoor cardio session and it handled fantastically. It wicked my sweat and maintained its weightlessness never becoming clingy, sticky, or oppressive. Bravo to the newest blend of Wazzie Wool!
