New and notable. We took our expertise in creating the best bottoms and added as much pocket power as possible. We started with our Plya Compression, which is loved for being smooth, compressive, and lightweight. And then we added pockets in all the places where we know it's best to stash and carry. On the waistband, these babies have a rear zip pocket and two mesh pockets. On the side of the legs, there are drop in pockets and two small zip pockets. Just in case. From lip balm to cash to card keys to phones, we want to carry your things (in style)!
- Plya Interlock fabric (polyester / spandex)
- rear zip pocket
- two side waist mesh pockets
- two side leg pockets that fit a phone
- two side zip pockets
- interior drawcord
- 16.5" inseam (size 4)
I wanted to give these tights a fair chance before I made a final judgment, so I've been wearing these regularly over the past month. The pros: they do not slip down from my waist when I'm running, and they're pretty comfortable. I like that there are many pockets to hold the items I might need on a run. The bad: Believe all the previous reviews when people say that these leggings are NOT compressive. They are tight, but not -- it's just a weird situation that no one using these for high-performance activity is looking for. I hesitate to say the fabric feels cheap, but the fabric feels cheap. I should mention the fabric does show every dimple, etc., but that's not too much of a concern to me. What IS a concern for me is that they show sweat like nobody's business, except it becomes everybody's business since they can see sweat in places I don't want them seeing it! Last, the large pockets on the side, (the type of pocket many people often slide a phone into), are just too wide. My phone flops around the entire run (see: not compressive), which is quite distracting. I hope this review will help those considering these leggings. If you're looking for a basic functioning legging that doesn't slide down and holds lots of items, these are for you. If you're looking for something to support you during your workout in hot and humid weather, pass on these. Since I use these for running outdoors in a hot & humid climate, these just aren't for me.
I have been excited to try these tights. I loved the color options and of course you can never have too many pockets and zippers. I should have listened to earlier reviewers who noted the lack of compression. To be honest, I thought at that price point the tights couldn't be that bad. However upon wearing them, they feel similar to a pair of much cheaper tights I bought at a bargain chain store. The fit is not flattering, they are relatively thin and they show every detail of my body. I am much happier with the triple threat knickers and now wish I had purchased two of those instead. I really don't think these should be advertised as compressive.
These are super lightweight and comfortable. Love all the pockets. I went down 1 size from my usual and they fit perfect.
I just received these last week and happily wore them for the first time on yesterday’s run with my dog. They are comfortable and pockets are great.
The fabric is lightweight. My dog jumped up on me in excitement of our run and and now there is a big torn hole in one leg and a split seam in the other.
Pretty bummed :(
I ordered my typical 8 but they are really big on me! I love the zippers, color and design. Unfortunately there is zero compression and even though they are big on me there is the funky stretch next to the zipper. It looks a like it’s stretched to the max. I hope it’s just this pair as I want to reorder in a smaller size.
I have ?SO many? Pairs of the triple threat capris dating from their debut years ago but wanted to try something new. These are amazing but agree with the reviews that there is minimal compression if that’s what you’re going for. That said, they do hold me in plenty and I am adoring the silky/ slicker fabric for warmer runs. Will definitely be ordering more and will now only wear Oiselle capris between these and the triple threat.
I just got these in a size 8. I am 5'7" 148lbs and I gotta say, these seemingly fit well but I am a little concerned about their staying power because I detect zero compression. Given the price point, I am hesitant to wear these and find out I still have the dreaded sagging legging problem, which was what motivated me to invest in Oiselle for the first time with these.
That said! I adore the pocket situation. I haven't tried a run in these, but I just put my phone on one side and a heavier case on the other and jogged in place in my room, no detectable movement on the leggings. Fingers crossed? Or I may exchange for a 6... so hard to know what to do here!
LOVE all the pockets, and would love to see this in a 7/8 length as well. Fits nicely, but no compression despite the title. This is my first pair of leggings from Oiselle and I would say they are true to size, but as I said not compressive. I am a true size 8 in clothing, 5'8 140lbs. Maybe I could have sized down to a 6, but I am not a 6 in any brand. Knees bunch a bit when I run, but that doesn't bother me.
