Long Pocket Jogger Shorts

I really wanted to like these shorts. The reviews and descriptions matched what I was looking for, a longer compression short with pockets. The length was great hitting about 2” above my knee. The compression was adequate but I have found better in cheaper priced shorts. The major fail for me were the pockets. Just because the short is long does not mean that I want or need that long/deep of a pocket. While the short may have some compression the pocket material has very little. This causes anything you put in the pocket to slide to the bottom. The problem is that the bottom of the pocket is aligned with the bottom of the short so my entire run I was forced to lean over to search and reach for things (gel packs) that were down my leg close to my knee.

I like the longer length and compression of these shorts. They have pockets and a back zipper to hold your keys or earbuds. I’m 65 and feel really good wearing these to exercise classes.

I’ve owned versions of the long pocket jogger shorts for years. I am loyal to them and love them! As a few other reviewers have noted, the issue in this latest version is that the side pockets go all the way to the bottom of the shorts… The pockets are cavernous and too stretchy, and it causes my phone to move around and pull the leg down. I’m not sure I can use them. Older versions of this short had the leg pocket end higher, above the three decorative seams (? what are these called?) on the bottom. PLEASE return to that design! It made the pockets so much more functional.

I love everything about these shorts- especially the deep pockets!
