The birds of Flyte are iconic. And the seamless fabric in which they're knit is so soft and lovely that we had the idea of putting it into a gaiter/headband/hat/anything-you-want-it-to-be high performance tube. It's soft, it stretches, it wicks water and moisture, and is always at the ready for neck warmth or a sporty mask.

It’s alright

So I was really excited about wearing this as a mask for running because I’m tired of wearing out the surgical masks I usually run in. The gaiter worked well with hiking but overall it’s way too big for my head and I need to hold it on my face. While running it was very difficult to breathe in so I didn’t find it super effective for that. I’ll keep it around but it’s a little disappointing.

Not for small heads

The material is very comfortable and breathable, but the opening is too wide to stay on my face during runs. I have to pin it in the back in order for it to stay.

Great for Outdoor Exercising During the Pandemic

I got the Flyte gaiter to wear while I train outdoors as as a face covering during the current pandemic. It’s great! I love the color, it’s lightweight, much easier to breath with than a face mask and sweat wicking. I plan to buy more!

Because Covid

The Flyte gaiter works well for me as a running-friendly face cover- I wear glasses, so I tuck it under the nose bridge (which also prevents fogging) to hold it in place when I encounter people on a narrow trail. It does get pretty damp by the end of a run, but it washes well and has not gotten funky. Also, it's cute. But that's a given.
