One of our best-selling bras, Flyout was inspired by trail runners who complained of regular sports bra straps digging into shoulders (underneath hydration packs), so it was designed to solve for that, as well as provide better storage and support. A center back phone pocket is made of power mesh, secure and easy to access. The chest band is extra wide, as are the shoulder straps. The higher neck, and our Power Plya™ fabric come together to provide a more supportive bra for C/D cups as well.
I now own 4 of these bras! I have worn these bras for multiple marathons and most recently, training for and completing a full Iron Man race (that included a marathon after 112 mile bike and 2.4 mile swim). This bra got me through all of the run and bike with NO chafing, discomfort, or issues at all! It is so comfortable to wear during warm speed workouts on their own or during my indoor bike training sessions! I am long/lean build and wear a 32A and this was roomy and comfortable in a size 4, even with triathlete shoulders!
I did the thing you’re never supposed to do: I wore a piece of running gear for the 1st time ever during a race. A marathon, no less. I needed somewhere for my phone and didn’t love the idea of it in front, so I took a chance on this bra. Zero chafing at all. Minimal bounce from my phone and “the girls” stayed locked and loaded (they’re not big, though.) To be safe I used plenty of anti-chafe stick around where the band sits and also near the armpit. Wish there were solid colors in my size. Would love to see a bra with this rear phone pocket AND a front pocket for gels, salt tabs, keys, cards, etc. More pockets, please!
I have been searching for a pocket sports bra to hold my gels on long runs. Finally this is it! Pocket is roomy (could fit 4+ gels) and easy to reach. I was skeptical but the wide straps and back coverage are really comfortable too. After a 2.5 hour long run I had minimal chafing. Still recommend some anti-chafe measures but it’s way better than other bras I’ve tried! Unlike other pocket sports bras, it’s low cut enough for the front to be breathable while still supportive. The material is thick but I didn’t have an issue with it being too hot.
I’m a 32C in regular bras and according to the size chart I would be a size 2 (28” ribcage). The size 2 fit but the arm holes are a bit snug and I was worried about chafing there, so I sized up to a size 4 and it’s perfect. If you are not small chested, I would size up from the suggested size!
I was desperate to find a bra for my recent 100k race that didn't dig into my shoulders under my hydration vest. I'm always left in so much pain by most bras after long runs. Then I found the Flyout bra and decided to give it a go. My initial reaction was that it's super comfy but a little thick. I tested the phone pocket out, works great. I test on a couple of long runs before my race and no shoulder/neck pain. I wore it for my 100k and was not in pain the entire time. AT ALL! This is unheard of for me. I didn't find it to be too hot either, and my race was in the heat. I will say I feel the sizing is a bit off. I ordered an 8 based on the size chart but could probably do a 6 if I wanted a bit more compression. Totally worth the price tag here if you wear a hydration vest and hate the digging in feeling!
