Long Track Star Shorts

I love the idea of these shorts, but they miss the mark just a smidge. For one, the side pocket is a hair too small; if it were maybe half an inch wider and an inch deeper, it would fit my iPhone 13 Pro comfortably. As it is, my phone always sticks out and I feel like it might pop out entirely if I move oddly.

The fit is also off. The inner layer compression shorts fit me well, but the overshorts (for lack of a better term) are too large. The waistband is about 1" too long; even when I tighten the drawstring, it comes loose over the course of my run and I find myself pulling up the shorts repeatedly (especially when I have my phone in the pocket).

That said, I really appreciate the design here, and the material is sturdy. The sizing just doesn't work for my body, and the pockets need to be deeper.

They don't ride up. They are flattering. They are awesome.

My favorite shorts for everything--working out, doing chores, enjoying a sunny day. So many useful pockets and very comfortable. I don't like my thighs to touch, so many of Oiselle's shorts are not for me, but these are FANTASTIC. I get a lot of compliments on them and I recommend them to everyone.

I've ordered 3 pairs now, on track to get a 4th. Had the first 2 pair one year and I've basically lived in them. My only wish is that the waist actually had a waistband. They have a drawstring, but the entire waist is the same stretch as the liner, so if you have large thighs like me, it's gonna migrate south. Def not a deal breaker. I LOVE these shorts! I've ran, gone swimming, kayaking, hiking, camping, shopping, yard work, you name it.. in these shorts. They hold up in the wash. The colors are amazing. The pockets.. they're on both sides! As pockets should be! I just wish they'd put a good thick waistband on these suckers.. but for now i'm happy!
