FLYOUT LONG SLEEVE
Looks like a long sleeve, feels like a tank top. Our Flyout™ fabric with HoverFit™ technology is so lightweight, and uniquely knit, that it hovers above your body - easily managing the movement and evaporation of sweat. This means that it feels like a cloud but wears like a protective layer when you need it. Raglan design, ultra soft hand feel, thumb holes and a signature hem line brings it all together. Updated with a watch window for coverage and visibility when wearing a watch on the run.
- HoverFit fabric (polyester/tencel/spandex)
- watch window on both sleeves
- unique side-seam finish
- 24.5" front body length (size 4)
- Michele is 5'8" and size 4 (rising sun)
- Kaia is 5'8" and size 4 (bb blue, snap)
- Ireland is 5'10" and size 4 (lark)
This was my first experience buying from Oiselle, and I'm very pleased with this shirt, with only a few minor details that might be improved.
What I love: 1. the freaking awesome slots on the sleeves for your watch! This was the whole reason I ordered this shirt, and I love it! No more trying to dig your watch out from under uncooperative sleeves. 2. Sizing seems spot on to me, thank you! I have a real dislike of ordering online when I can't check the size out for myself, because I hate having to do returns via the post office.
What might be improved: 1. I wish the shirt was a tad longer, but I'm fairly tall and have a long torso, so this is a problem that may be unique to my body type. I haven't tried running with it yet, I hope it isn't one of those shirts that ever so slowly creeps up on you, because with the length my belly would be hanging out fairly quickly. 2. The material is VERY light and see-through. I could easily read the logo on my sports bra through the fabric. I would be nice if this was a little heaver.
Overall, though, I love it and intend to order more!
I am obsessed with this running top! It is light and breathable, but it still keeps you warm during chilly weather. I think the watch windows are the best detail. I wish they would make more tops with them. The length is perfect. It doesn't ride up my torso like many tops. I have it in black, and I like that it's not a solid color. It is almost a pebbled look. I am 5'5 and 140lbs, and I bought an 8. It is fitted but loose. I normally wear between a 6 or 8 depending on how tight I want my shirt. This is perfect for Oregon coast running!
I keep getting amazed by the flyout shirts. I bought my first long sleeves in snap/grounded and wore it yesterday morning because it was raining, with the Vigor vest. I was afraid I would be too hot (it was around 16 deg celcius, 60F) but I wasn't. I wasn't cold either. I did roll up the sleeves to just above my wrists, and partly opened the vest, but that's all.
It was the kind of hard drizzle that soaks you up without realizing it, and I WAS DRY. It only started to get uncomfortable (chilly) when I got home because the shirt was wet, but I wasn't. Another feat of dark flyout magic.
Everything else about this shirt is just like the rest of them. Sizing is right, cut is great, flattering, does not move, ever, and makes you feel like you're not wearing anything. I'm 5'11, 155lbs and got my usual size 6.
Oh, wait. THE WATCH HOLES. ON BOTH SIDES. With reinforced seams. Please give a raise to whoever thought about that, Oiselle. Also tell them that I want to marry them. Thx.
I love the watch window!
I really love the Flyout line. This fabric is amazing, incredibly functional and the colors are catchy. I just wish it had more length for us with longer torsos.
I am 5'7, 130 lbs, and I ordered a size 4.
I have two of these tops, one from 2017 and a new one. My newer one is more loose-fitting (both are a size 6) and I like the updated fit. It is also a bit softer
(but has not been washed as much yet). My first top is a light blue and my second is a dark red. I will probably stick to dark colours with this fabric because there are sweat stains in the thumbholes of my lighter shirt. Other than that, it has held its own for two years on countless runs and multi-day hikes. The sweat stains were bound to appear.
This is my go-to running shirt and my go-to travel shirt (comfy for planes and long car rides, casual wear, and running)! I could not ask for more.
I haven't come across the snagging problem that other reviewers have encountered but the fabric is thin so I can see how this happens.
Love this tshirt. It can go on a run or out to dinner. I want to order another one but they keep running out of stock. Keep this away from velcro. The fabric can snag.
This top is pretty great...it's soft but sturdy, thin but warm, and totally stylish but still means business...pretty much perfect for cool-weather long runs, or even just for errands/hanging out! I got the Frost color in size 4, and it may be shorter than some other Oiselle tops I have (Wazelle for ex.), but it's not too short...hits about lower-hip area. A little roomy in the torso, but still a flattering fit. I'm 5'5" and 125 lbs. for reference.
