Firecracker 3/4 Tights
The length (3/4), the convenience (two side pockets), the safety (reflective birds and geometric lines), and the tried and true body fabric (Plya Interlock) makes the Firecracker Tights a fun, fierce, fiery staple for year-round running. The reflectivity, in a premium all-over print, is bright and long lasting! So leap, jump, run into those dark hours. You will be seen.
Like others, I could hardly get these over my hips even though I went with my normal size. Super discouraging. I wouldn't recommend these....they desperately need to address the tight waistband issue first.
I’m glad I got these during the 40% off sale. Definitely not worth the full price. The material is very thin, no warmth or compression at all. The waistband doesn’t stretch, so they are difficult to get over the hips.
Then I took these out for a run… Had to cut my run short because the crotch sagged so much it was driving me crazy! Since I can’t return them, I guess they’ll be used for home workouts— but I needed them for my early AM runs in the dark.
I assumed these tights were compressive, but they are not. I'm 5'2" 133 and I think I'm between sizes even though I measured before buying. The size 6 was too loose for me; a size 4 would probably fit better. The reflective birds seem less bright than I thought they would be.
The firecracker tights from last winter (2022 with the dots) were literally my favorite Oiselle tights ever. They fit great and worked well for a range of PNW temps. Unfortunately this years version is a big let down. The waist no longer has a drawstring which I feel is essential for those of us who carry phones or have bigger booties. The design on the entire tight is different and they don’t fit great and aren’t nearly as flattering. There is no longer a leg/hip pocket, just little pockets at the waistband and the one zippered pocket in back. I wish I had purchased more of last years tights when they were in stock. Unfortunately I think this is another case of changing sizing/design that messed with a great thing - again. Can we please have some consistency from year to year?
