My go-to hat

I received this hat as a gift and just love it. A lot of trucker hats have a stiff, itchy mesh at the back, but the fabric on the back of this hat is very soft and molds well to my head. The fit is comfortable over very long runs and doesn't leave that forehead mark that some hats can. I pair this with a light up vest for running in the dark and feel confident I am nice and visible to all of the traffic I encounter.

Wanted to love. Felt good but reflective fabric showed all flaws.

I've been intrigued by the runner trucker hats for a while but wasn't sure about some of the prints. Enter the reflective hat! Helpful as I frequently wear hats while walking around the neighborhood in the evening and don't want to wear a reflective vest or when hiking on vacation. The problem is, this reflective material shows all imperfections such as where the seam meets the brim and where the band hits behind the reflective material. It feels like steaming or ironing could temporarily fix the problem but the care tag says specifically not to iron. Planning on returning this one and purchasing one of the regular runner trucker hats. I will say this hat is comfortable and seems well made, the problem is just that the reflective material showing the flaws makes it look cheap.
