Reading the mixed reviews I hesitated to buy these, but am so glad I did! I ordered my usual size 4 and was happy with the fit (maybe the size issues reviewed below were from different versions?) anyways, I love these lighter weight tights that have lovely detailing as well as nice side pockets and a rear zip pocket. Would definitely recommend and they are currently marked down to an amazing price!
Really liking these tights! Lightweight Spandos fabric, cute detailing, zip pocket at the waistband and two side pockets. These will be great for coaching when I start and stop, carrying stopwatches and snacks. My only note is that if you are between sizes (at the waist), size up. I vary between a 4 and a 6 in bottoms. The 4 fit but felt too tight at the waist. Exchanged for a 6 and love the fit!
I own at least 3 pair of Oiselle tights. The style I wanted isn’t made any more, so I thought I’d try the Meridian tights. I am 5’4”, 132lbs. and normally wear a size 4. The Meridian tights are way too loose, or lacking in compression, from previous models in the size 4. (Perhaps if I tried a size 2 the fit would be better.). The drawstring has to be so tight it hurts and then they sag in the knee and crotch. The length is more like a 7/8 length. I love the side pockets and the detailing at the ankle but the fit/ compression is not ok. I’m not sure I want to spend the money to try a size 2 even if they are on sale.
Really like this color, the fabric and pockets. Unfortunately they bunch up around my knees enough that I can feel it and I’m sized out. I ordered a size 2 based on what I normally wear in Oiselle. Torn on whether to return or not!
I have two pairs of rogas in size 6 so I ordered a size 6 in these tights. They run a little big on me and slip down while I'm running. It's slightly annoying but not a deal breaker because they are comfortable and I love the pockets and the high waist.
Quality-wise, I think they are below average. The seam at the crotch has started to unravel after about two months of use which is very disappointing. There isn't a gaping hole yet but I'm not sure what I should do to mend these to prevent that from happening. I have a pair of Brooks tights that I've had for over 5 years and no unraveling or quality issues.
Overall, I'm not sure I would recommend them unless you spot them on super sale. I do not think they are worth it at full price.
I love the material, it's stretchy and soft! It just runs a little big - I am usually a size 6/M in tops and shorts. Size 6 in these fit fine but slip if I run in them. I am 5'3" and if they are pulled up all the way, they fall short of my ankle.
These are a flattering style with a thin fabric. The thin fabric is okay will be great for spring and rainy cool summer days. The fit was off compared to my other Oiselle stuff and I wish I'd sized down from my standard roga size. The tights felt like they were sagging and not very supportive when running.
I'm very surprised about the softness of those ones. They are light but warm enough in the 40's and breathable, comfortable and supporting. The back pocket fits my phone perfectly without bouncing, they don't ride down. I'm 5'9", 140, size 4 is perfect and arrive mid-low calf for me, which was the style I was going for. I'm in love
