Really like this color, the fabric and pockets. Unfortunately they bunch up around my knees enough that I can feel it and I’m sized out. I ordered a size 2 based on what I normally wear in Oiselle. Torn on whether to return or not!
I have two pairs of rogas in size 6 so I ordered a size 6 in these tights. They run a little big on me and slip down while I'm running. It's slightly annoying but not a deal breaker because they are comfortable and I love the pockets and the high waist.
Quality-wise, I think they are below average. The seam at the crotch has started to unravel after about two months of use which is very disappointing. There isn't a gaping hole yet but I'm not sure what I should do to mend these to prevent that from happening. I have a pair of Brooks tights that I've had for over 5 years and no unraveling or quality issues.
Overall, I'm not sure I would recommend them unless you spot them on super sale. I do not think they are worth it at full price.
I love the material, it's stretchy and soft! It just runs a little big - I am usually a size 6/M in tops and shorts. Size 6 in these fit fine but slip if I run in them. I am 5'3" and if they are pulled up all the way, they fall short of my ankle.
These are a flattering style with a thin fabric. The thin fabric is okay will be great for spring and rainy cool summer days. The fit was off compared to my other Oiselle stuff and I wish I'd sized down from my standard roga size. The tights felt like they were sagging and not very supportive when running.
I'm very surprised about the softness of those ones. They are light but warm enough in the 40's and breathable, comfortable and supporting. The back pocket fits my phone perfectly without bouncing, they don't ride down. I'm 5'9", 140, size 4 is perfect and arrive mid-low calf for me, which was the style I was going for. I'm in love
I purchased these to replace my old winter running tights, and hoping for the same quality fabric as my Oiselle pocket joggers...unfortunately, these are made of a MUCH thinner fabric, which would never come close to keeping me warm enough during long runs in cold Michigan winters. Also, I am 5’6”, and although these are listed as a full-length tight, they are more of a cropped-length on me (I don’t want chilly ankles either!). I really wish Oiselle offered different lengths in more of their styles of tights, other than just the 1 style meant for taller women. On a positive note, the high waist was nice, but I did notice the back zip pocket was not as big as the one on my pocket jogger shorts for my iPhone 12 Max Pro. The solution....Pocket Jogger full length tights with a 27” inseam option and made of the Nyelle fabric, please!!!
This Plya is my favorite material for running tights: on the lightweight side, the perfect amount of compression. Very flattering fit. The waist is a bit high for my preference (with a long rise)...but I'm still doing laundry just so I can run in them again. All of the pockets are perfect. Buying the other color-ways!
I live in the South, and we never really get cold enough weather for me to justify purchasing thick, long tights or any of the cool Oiselle jackets. However, the meridian tights are thin enough for me to be able to pull off long tights on the limited occasions when it's in the 30s and 40s. They have great compression, and I feel like the side pockets (which fit my phone and gels) may actually stay up if I were to run with my phone in them. They have great detail along the ankle, and it reminds me of an older Oiselle style of tights that I never wore for running. The Plya fabric is great, and I put them on after getting them out of the mailbox and will probably wear them most nights! Definitely recommend!
