AMAZING TIGHTS!!

They stay in place while running, the waistband is wide and comfy, the material is soft and compressive, and the pockets are very secure (I couldn’t even feel my phone in there)! Highly recommend!

Most Favorite Leggings

The Basic Birds are my most favorite leggings, which is saying a lot since leggings are an essential part of my remote-worker/runner/mom/millennial uniform. The material is super soft. I was initially skeptical as I have become reliant on the handy deep pockets on the sides of my leggings, but then I was introduced to the INCREDIBLE BACK pocket of the Basic Birds. This pocket holds my phone so well that I have literally forgotten it was there (more than once). The Basic Birds have become such an integral part of my existence that they are changing me for the better. I hate laundry, but I willingly do laundry just to make sure I have my basic birds back in rotation as quickly as possible.

These are my favorite Oiselle tights ever. Simple, flattering and so comfortable. 10/10

High means High

These leggings were advertised as high rise, but WOW, did that mean high-rise. I’m 5’4, and the waistband went to about 1” below my bra line on front, touching my bra on my back. It looks comical on me. I would have expected Oiselle to scale the rise so that the smaller sizes have a slightly lower rise, so that the waistband sits at a similar, reasonable level on people of different heights/sizes, but they didn’t. Oiselle missed the mark here.

I really wanted to like them… the color and fabric are beautiful, but there’s no way on earth that I would wear these to run.

They also run slightly big. I am on the upper end of 4’s in Roga shorts, and ordered a 4 in these as well, but they are loose. I won’t be keeping them due to the ridiculously high rise, but if I had, I’d be exchanging them for a 2.
