Wearable but not awesome

I wanted a pair of breathable, lightweight shorts that wouldn't ride up and would eliminate chaffing. I am 5'6", about 170, and I bought size 14. I would not buy these again, and I would not recommend them to a friend. On the positive side, they did not ride up to the extent that I had chaffing; the material is also lighter weight than my Pocket Joggers. On the negative side, they still ride up, the material bunches in the crotch area. The waist pocket does a find job of holding stuff (phone is secure, you can clip keys with a carabiner, etc.), but all the excess material made that area sweaty. So, meh. Not a complete failure, but not worth getting again at my size. I've worn them on 3, 5, and 6 mile runs from about 50-75 degrees.

Perfection

I wanted longer shorts than my 5" ones, and love Plya Compression. These were on sale so I decided to give them a try, and I'm so glad I did. They went on easy, and are super comfortable. The waist band is barely there - no pinching, it's not tight, it's not loose (didn't have to use the drawstring, which I always have to do), and it doesn't move. The length is a tad weird on my long legs (it's like 8" is either 1" to short or 1" too long) but I knew it would be and that's not the short's fault.

Wore them for a slow 20' run today in 75F sunny weather, and they were perfection. Just like my older omazing strides, but longer.

The legs didn't ride up. In fact, they didn't move at all. The waist didn't move either. I didn't have to adjust them once, and I could barely feel them. They're not very compressive, but über comfy. They also didn't feel too hot.

For reference I'm 5'11" and 145lbs, and bought a size 4.
