O-Mazing Power Shorts Mini
Short shorts lovers rejoice: this is the coming together of all good things. It starts with our Power Plya™ compression fabric which is thicker than our classic Plya, and Spandex-infused, giving you support in every step. The cut of the leg openings are very intentional, with more coverage in the rear where it's needed. Then we added our signature 360 degree O-mazing pocket design which is both simple and secure. From front to back, it's easy to store keys, fuel, a phone, whatever you need -- all kept in place by a compressive outer layer and super secure bar tacks. Simply O-mazing!
I almost ran my first marathon in these shorts, but thankfully I stumbled upon the dart mini shorts! These are also great shorts and I love these for different occasions, like for a half-marathon. However, the legs on these do roll up a bit/ride up on me and caused some chafing over the summer training runs. Since I have the shorts I'm willing to live with it and adjust them every several miles, and I do love all the waistband pockets and how they keep my phone firmly in place. They also look good and the waistband is easy to adjust.
I absolutely love these shorts! I have worn them for all my marathons. I carry lots of nutrition and the waistband pocket is perfect; I don't even notice all the stuff I put in there! It poured down rain during my last race and I didn't chafe at all in these shorts, even though they were drenched. I need to buy more. A lot of shorts have too long of an inseam for my preference; these are perfect. Basically if you like short shorts but need pockets, get these!!
These are the magic spandex. The pocket is so nice, these shorts hold my phone and keys so well I barely even know they're there. The fabric is super thick and the cut its perfect - they're definitely short but not too short. Can't recommend enough!
The pockets are a 10/10! I will say as someone with 40in hips and 29in waist I went with the 6 and I definitely cinch the drawstrings in which makes it bunch up a bit on top, while simultaneously being a bit tight on the seam for the thighs. But it’s not too loose/ tight to take much comfort from running in them, as I have already completed an 18 mile run in them quite comfortably.
