no personalization!!

Ordering a gift card was easy, but there is no way of adding a note/message!! Sending a birthday gift and obviously the recipient will know what is for (and assuming the purchaser will be noted somewhere???) but most places have a birthday graphic to choose for the card and a way of personalizing a message! (when I saw this, was going to switch to an ecard, but those cannot be sent to a recipient - they can only be sent to the purchaser and then forwarded????
