Description

If you run hot and don't want to compromise comfort for storage, we've got you. We've taken the wide array of pockets that make our Pocket Joggers such a fan fave and put them on our lighter-weight, but still supportive and compressive, Plya fabric. A cool hand feel, plenty of storage space across all inseams, and the special details that set us apart (like the 360-degree waistband pocket system, with tacking designed to loop a layer through) make this a no-brainer to add to your gear drawer. See you at the starting line! Bonus: the shorts are also available in six- and eight-inch inseams to suit every body.

Wear testers have reported that this style is snug in the waist and hips. If you are between sizes, we recommend going up one size.

Comfy But Rolling Up

I really liked these, tons of pocket space, really lightweight and super comfortable. The waist of the shorts stayed put and I didn't feel like it was too compressive which is an issue with a lot of shorts. However, the legs kept rolling up which made these not ideal for a longer run. I can manage it for 30 minutes, but that's about it. I hope Oiselle will add some silicone to keep these in place in future versions!

THE perfect running short - at long last!

I went on a quest in early 2025 to find the perfect running shorts for me. I didn't think my expectations were unreasonable; I was seeking shorts with two deep side pockets, light (but not too tight) compression, and a flattering, age-appropriate fit for my almost 59-year old body. After trying on nearly 40 pairs of shorts from at least 8 brands, I discovered the Pockito 4" short. NIRVANA! These are literally THE BEST shorts I have found in two decades of distance running: deep, snug side pockets that keep my iPhone snug and free from annoying bounces; a back zipper pocket for my car fob/key; assorted other pockets for gels; and a very flattering 4" length that doesn't make me feel self-conscious wearing them for errands after my run. I love these so much I bought them in all four colors/patterns after receiving my first pair.

Size 4, 118#, 5'8" (slip hips and not much of a waist)

Bad pockets, rides up.

I'm used to wearing the 6" pockito shorts. They stay in place, the pockets are snug enough to hold a couple gels, but not give me a thigh squeeze bump. The 4" pockito shorts, keep trying to be 2" pockito shorts, as they ride up. And the putting things in the pockets makes me feel like I have flab hanging off my thighs - so much jiggling. Needless to say, I probably won't be running in these shorts. The 6" - I will do a marathon in those. 4" - I might take the dog for a walk.

Size up

I ordered my usual size in these, but the waistband is just too tight.
