Not the same as the A.T. Mittens

My favorite mittens of all time are the A.T. Mittens from a few years ago. Hands down (get it? Hands? Ha!) the warmest mittens I have ever owned. But once they were discontinued and my daughter started borrowing my A.T. Mittens, I knew I needed another pair. The PNW Mittens looked a lot like the A.T. Mittens but I wasn't sure if they were exactly the same. The other reviews led me to believe that they were not the same but I knew I had to find out for myself. Unfortunately, the other reviews are correct: The PNW Mittens are just not that warm. Very cozy and soft but too thin and they just don't live up to the A.T. Mittens hype. Bummer.

Soft but not warm

I love how the mittens feel and fit, but they do not retain warmth or resist wind. I wish they were lined with the same fleece that lines both the PNW gaiter and earband

Not wind resistant and not warm

These are super soft and fluffy, but the wind blows right through them and they are not warm. My hands were cold after trying them on for just a couple seconds outside with tiny wind gusts in ~38 degrees. I'd give them 2.5 stars, but I rounded up.
