Do you have a quote that guides, inspires, or embodies your training/racing/life?
“Pain is where the race is won." - Paul Pilkington

I love this quote because every runner hurts at some point during a race, but it is what you decide to do at that specific point that determines the outcome of a race. You can either slow down until the pain subsides, or you can push through it and dominate.

Why do you run?
I run because I feel better when I start my day off with a run. I love the places running has taken me and the friends I've made. I have so many great memories of running. It just makes me happy.

What is your favorite place to run?
I love trail running It's so great to run on a soft surface and enjoy the scenery.

Running gear you can't live without?
Roga shorts: they are cute and comfy.

What is your favorite local running store?
Peak Performance

When you're not running where would we find you?
I love hanging out with my boys and swimming, hiking, biking or skiing.

What is your favorite post-race treat?
Chocolate Milk
