Do you have a training philosophy?
Enjoy what you are doing! If you enjoy what you are doing you will succeed! I also make sure I go easy on my easy days so I am rested and ready to go hard on my hard days.
What is your favorite place to run?
I love to run anywhere in San Diego. I also love to run at South Mountain in Phoenix.
Why do you run?
I run because I love how it makes me feel. Nothing beats the feeling after a race or a long run. Running makes me feel strong, fit, healthy, and happy. I love the process of going after my goals and seeing my hard work pay off. I am a competitor at heart and running scratches my competitive itch.
What animal do you most resemble in your racing and why?
A bird because they can go long and steady and be speedy when they need to be.
What is your favorite activity, when not running?
Spending time with my husband and two kids. I also love to cook and try out new recipes.
