Frozen yogurt
What is your must-have piece of running gear?
My watch.
Do you have a training philosophy?
Enjoy each moment. Be comfortable with being uncomfortable. No one ever said this was going to be easy.
What is your favorite place to run?
By my house in Robinswood Park, Bellevue. Great dirt trails that wind through blueberry farms.
Why do you run?
It gives me joy, confidence, peace, and sanity. Running offers amazing bonds - it brings together wonderful people.
What animal do you most resemble in your racing and why?
My nickname in high school was Tigger. So maybe a very bouncy little tiger? I try to keep a very positive and upbeat attitude about running, racing and all of the joys that running brings to life.
What is your favorite activity, when not running?
Enjoying time with my husband John Hill, daughters, Zia(41/2) and Kalea(2) coaching high school XC and track, teaching English, working on my National Boards for teaching, spending time with friends and family. I also love to read. I just finished the Dragon Tattoo series.
