New Favorite Shorts
I was hesitant to get these after reading previous reviews, so waited for a sale and took a chance, and am so glad I did! The hi-lo cut is amazing. The shorter front stays out of the way, while the longer rear keeps everything covered. Especially useful when running with the stroller and leaning forward more than normal. They’re super lightweight and feel “barely there”. I’ve done faster and slower runs with and without the stroller, and on trails, and have never had issues with fabric rolling/riding up. Haven’t had to readjust at all when running.
My one minor issue is that they feel just a bit big, so lack compression, but I don’t mind because they’re one of the few shorts that don’t pinch at the leg opening and look “sausagey”!
- The hi-lo leg opening. The shortie-short length. Sleek fabric.
- They’re only available in two colors. I’d get these in alllll the colors.
Cute but not running practical
Great shorts for just wearing around - tried to wear to running and also yoga but got a lot of the short riding up. My gluteus maximus did stay covered! But I was constantly pulling on the shorts because the fabric was rolling.
- Cute owl print
- Ride up in front

I wanted to love these (I love Kara Goucher and want to dress in her line), but buy these. They ride up, aren't comfy, and really just are pretty bad.
- Did not like
- could not wear. Ride up and not comfortable
These shorts are cute and have pockets (hence the 2 stars), but they're uncomfortable and ride up when running. The sizing FITS fine, but when you actually get out and run in them, they're not comfortable and I was pulling at them constantly. Once you realize this (by running in them...), Oiselle's unyielding return policy leaves you no option but to run in uncomfortable shorts or just throw them away. A sad waste of money.
- Cute Design
- Rides Up, Uncomfortable

This is my 4th or 5th pair of Osielle shorties. I am on the fence here. They are super comfy but a couple of things are not exactly right. The fabric, while supple and smooth, seems a little sheer. The pocket in the back is a little wonky - I prefer the fold over kind. The design is good, back coverage is adequate. For reference I am 5'8", 145 with muscular booty and quads. they seem to run just a smidge big around the waist. Still deciding but this is my initial impression.
- design, color, fabric
- back pocket, sheerness, needs more of a lined front?
